This person called me and told me the same thing that in 2011 I authorized them to be in quicklinks - a search engine  - that I had a contract with them and I told her no I don't there was no need for me to pay someone $500 - that they wanted payment for the last two years... this is a scam ... she said she would have the office call me with the contract and the PO # I gave to authorize service.. which I know is an outright lie.

Same fake listing $499 due for fake renewal.  Never heard of them.  Ignore and hang up

They called me to update my "Business Registry Listing." Said I signed up 2 years ago with a free year then opted in for last year which is now due for $499.  People call for mailing address, fax and business info all of the time. I may have talked to them, but certainly did not authorize a purchase. I don't even know who they are or if there is a real product anywhere.  SCAM.

SOME LADY CALLED AND STATED WE OWED FOR SOME LISTING. I TOLD SHE WAS A SCAM AND DO NOT CALL BACK.

I really need to stop these calls and turn this Sabina into proper authorities!

This woman has called several times over the last three months. Glad I have caller ID. Same BS. To make a long story short, she informed me that John had authorized this. Told her she was full of it! Said she would call back and talk w/ John. Asked her for her number and she hung up on me! By the way....Sabina Johnson or whoever the hell she is said we still owe $499.00 from 2011 that John authorized! I really want to fix her butt! Any suggestions?

Just received a call from Ph#855-724-5393 saying they were updating my business listing from a year ago and I told them nothing had changed. They then said do you agree to continue service with us and I said the owner wasn't paying for listings at this time because he's currently going through a divorce and didn't have the extra money to send..Mark replied with oh...well this is a paid listing. I told him to discontinue it then. He replied with there is a balance of 499 due from last year that is still outstanding & he'll send me an invoice with the cancellation notice and once paid it can clear my account. He transferred me to a cancellation agent and when she talked with me she verified address, ph#, fax#, etc. Then she mentioned that there would be a balance due of Four Hundred Ninety Nine Dollars. I "assumed" when I spoke with Mark that it was Four Dollars and Ninety Nine Cents. No one from here would authorize a business listing for $500 over the phone. He said he had an agreement from last year so I told him to send a copy to me because I don't have any such record. He said okay and hung up on me.

Obvious call center based on the background noise, listed as out-bound messaging center. A female called saying she had rec'd a note from our mgr to cancel our on-line advertising. Knowing we had none, I said okay. She confirmed our address and stated they would be sending a bill for $499.95. I told her we had no prior record of paying that amount and she said the charge was due because of the account being cancelled. I told her no charge was authorized - her response "should I call back then and talk with the manager?" I said "yes, and I'll tell him to expect your call".

It's very unlikely that she will call back. There always seems to be someone trying to extract money from the unsuspecting. Beware!!

Received a call stating I signed up for an online advertising service a year ago, and they are now collecting payment.  I told them to go kick rocks :-)

Filed complaint with the FTC, whose agent said "yellow pages scam." Will also file under internet crimes at www.ic3.gov, and lodge a complaint at my state's attorney general's office. ..Do not give these guys money. Do not talk with them.

Same. Trying to tell me I owed them money for a contract I never authorized. Would play recording of "verbal" contract. He couldn't find it. Tried to say someone else in the office must have authorized it, under my name; it needed to be paid, etc. ... I certainly did not make a contract with them.  ... I am calling police and/or sheriff's fraud department. These guys need to be stopped.

I received a call from this phone number to renew my service on 03/11/13. When I stated that I am not interested, the representative informed me that I have a bill from them for their past service.  I told him that I have never ordered their service and to move forward and report me to the Credit Bureaus if he disagrees.  He said he will send me a fax in which I am waiting eagerly.

Not only they intend to take our money, they also wast our valuable time from work.  This issue should be taken very seriously by the federal government as well as the state authorities.

Verbal agreements in my state are only legal if you shake hands after spitting on the palms.

Received fraudulent call from their cancellation department regarding a supposed 2 year advertising contract with them that was supposed to have been voice authorized by me and recorded by them. I told the woman she was very much in error and I would like to be able to have information for my attorney to be able to contact them. After a long drawn out yawn by her she said she did not know that information but would have their accounting department contact me and have the recorded authorization call available for me to hear. Obviously by the internet information I have found it is a huge scam and should be investigated by the proper authorities.

This is a scam! I received a call from 855-724-5393. They played an audio of my voice agreeing to an online advertising listing. At the point the company name that was providing the service was spoken the audio became very muffled and then cleared back up. When I asked the person on the other end of the line to replay the audio because I could not clearly understand the company name I was informed that she could not keep replaying the audio due to internal policies. And that someone else would call me back.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS call and report them as soon as you get that call to the Attorney Generals Office.
They may tell you that they have recorded you giving them permission and that is a lie. They may of used software to twist a conversation with you over something totally different and these things can be tested.
They say they are calling to renew your memebership, they say they are" the interent ad service" then when pined down they say Quick Link.

Just got a call from them asking for someone who worked here several years ago. She said that this person authorized a two year agreement with them to list our company and would I like to continue. I said that this was not true. She got very rude and said "what do you mean this is not true? I have a legally binding contract that says you owe this money. Look for an invoice." and she slammed the phone down.

JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY REGARDING A 2 YEAR CONTRACT FOR AN ONLINE LOOK UP SERVICE WHICH I NEVER AUTHORIZED.  THEY ARE WANTING TO CANCEL THE SERVICE AFTER I PAY FOR LAST YEARS SERVICE.  WHEN I TOLD HIM I NEEDED MORE INFO REGARDING WHO AUTHORIZED THE SERVICE BEFORE PAYMENT WOULD BE MADE, HE SAID SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK ABOUT THAT AND HUNG UP.  HOW RUDE!!!  THEY ARE DEFINITELY NO GETTING ANY MONEY FROM ME.

Received a cll stating I owe over $400.00 . Played a tape where you could not hear the name of Company. Fell victim to this in 2011 with Master Pages and this is the same recorded message only with company name garbled. Have them calling back on Tue. and will have them play meaasge again to record for our attorney.

I got a calll yesterday claiming that I owed Quicklinks money for advertising with them, that they advertise on google and yahoo.  The man was totally unprofessional and said that they had a bill for me for 499.00 that I owed, that he was third party collector.  I told him I didn't know who Quicklinks was, never got a bill from them, and never authorized to advertise with them.  They said my address, which I told him he could have gotten off the web, and that I was going to report him to the police. I would hate to be that person who pays because they just don't know.  I hung up and haven't heard from him since. Its sad that people think they can scam others out of their hard earned dollars.

I just got the same phone call.  I NEVER heard of my supposed online listing which was about to expire.  Additionally, I believe that the girl had a mouthful of mashed potatoes.

Same thing as "am."  The caller, Sabina, told me that she would play the tape of me authorizing their service.  When I said yes, that I would like to hear it, she claimed to have a problem playing it.  She told me that their technology dept. would call me back within 10 minutes.  No call back as of yet.

Received a call from this number stating that I had subscribed to "Quick Link" service. They asked if I wanted to continue service and I asked "What service?" I was told "Quick Link"  When I stated that I did not know anything about it, they responded with "They had a audio of me verifying my billing address". What they played did not sound like an authentic 2-way conversation.  Cut and paste conversation! There is no way that I would verify a $400+ invoice over the phone!!! What they did not play was me saying no thank you to their service! Beware!

Just got a call from 855 724 5393 saying that i had been subscribed for advertising for 1 year with their company. The caller was female and her name began with A. She said her company was called quick leaf. They knew my name and my phone number?. They said that if i no longer wanted the service if would cost me 159.99 for the year to cancel it. They wanted my mailing address or my email address. I informed them that i would have to talk to my lawyer as i am not familar with this service and the fee is alarming. She said she would continue the service for an additional year and i would have to pay double next year and slammed the phone down. I subsequently did internet searches for this company, and couldn't find any. Any help could be appreciated to locating this company. Thanks.

They called saying I had subscribed to a google search in 2010 for a 2 year deal. The first year was supposedly free and that I had to pay for the second year. They wanted to send me a bill for the last year. I never agreed to receive any such service. A service like this asks for the money up front not after the service is completed. What's going on?
