Received same as everyone else but with treats. The below numbers they are all on the same "Program: with threats to come to your home between hours of 2pm - 4pm or 3pm - 5pm. : Nicholas McCarther, LaSalle Group, SDS Courier Service 866-755-9648, 855-738-37974, 855-768-0877,201-957-7977,415-653-0501,855-738-3970. They will not provide you any information. My mistake was to ask them who and what they are to get YELLED at and THREATENED "don't pay up you will be arrested - I stopped answering my cell phone and when they call me at work I hang up.
Odd Nicholas McCarther -La Salle Group who has been calling with threats to my work and cell has stopped for over a week now and now Carol Richards (same number as Nicholas but now the company is called Civil Litigation Group her license is CRW 650 threatened to come to my home on June 17th between the hours of 2pm - 4pm to have legal counsel present and 2 forms of ID she said she will serve papers if I am not at home she will come to my work.  I have filed complaints to the FTC I don't know who these scammers are! and to continue to harass people. They seem like some scammers trying to collect monies from anyone. We all should go a group action law suit against these guys!!! Seriously!!!

Received a text message from 716-261-3789 saying it was LaSalle Recovery regarding my case #.  

I WAS TOLD THE SAME THING, PAUL MURRAY WILL BE AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN 3-5PM TOMORROW.

I RECEIVED A CALL TODAY FROM A 213-325-0442 # SAYING THAT SOME DOCUMENTS WILL BE DROPPED OFF AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT TOMORROW BY A PAUL MURRY LICENSE #626CRW IF I WANT TO POSTPONE FOR A LATER DATE CALL 855-755-9648. SO WHAT I DID WAS CALL THE 213 # BACK AND SOMEONE BY THE NAME OF MICHAEL MALLORY STATES THAT I AM CALLING THE LASALLE RECOVERY BUREAU AND I SAID THANKS I NOW HAVE A NAME TO GO IN MY COMPLAINT WHETER HE IS THE PERSON BEHIND THIS OR NOT I HAVE A NAME.

I fell for it. Received a call from Ms Carson at 855-738-3970 about an unpaid PDL from 2013.  These people are the best scammers. She told me my employer would be given legal notice the next day to garnish wages if I didn't pay immediately a lot more than the $300 loan. Anyone seeking IMMEDIATE payment is a scammer. I believed her and made a small partial payment to buy me time to investigate and determined the loan she was collecting had been paid. Both the original lender and my bank statements confirmed the payments. I called Ms Carson back to get my money refunded, but she then tells me the account number I paid is different than the one she is collecting on and I took multiple loans with the same lender which I did not so unless I agree to pay me and my employer will be served the next day. So, I'm not getting my money back, but canceled the card to prevent them from taking more. Thank goodness it wasn't a lot of money but I feel like a fool because I should know better.  

I received several calls from a Michael Mallory from 321-234-0356 stating he was from  La Salle Recovery and that he needed to transfer me to someone in regards to a legal matter so I said "transfer me" then a so-called Tammy Wells answered and said that I owed money from April of 2013 to Evergreen a sister company of Kemper and when I researched those companies they are online payday loans which I don't have. So she got rude really quick when I started questioning her and she hung up. I called the number back and she answered with a "hello" so I told her how are you answering the number that supposedly transferred me to you. She got mad and said I will be served for court I said ok. later in the day I got a call from 330-475-7647 and it was some guy sounding like a recording saying a scheduled apt to serve had been made and I hung up. I am so over these people. A few days ago an Asian sounding man called with an American first and last name called from 911 saying he was an officer demanding a payment. What a joke!!

I keep getting calls from these people they have harassed my family members the number comes on my cell phone as a 385 area code you call a Cain answers but the left is a 855 number and I supposed to talk to a jake.  The message on my pin sounds like same person cain. They say 24 he they will report you ask them to send via mail they say they only do business by email.  This started right after my computer got hacked into in 2012. Somehow the gained assessment to my bank account and started withdrawing money.  I since then canceled because wells Fargo kept allowing when I told them about I do know who these people even filed a police report.  Do not pay it is a scam. Just wish there was away to catch these people and put them away so they can't do this

Well Paul Murray must travel a lot because I got a call from SDS courier too saying he'd be by my place today as well. This morning I got a call from the LaSalle company mentioned in previous posts too. Coincidence? Nope. If you owe the money or not, these are people who prey on your fears and will use, what I presume to be illegal, tactics to get you to pay. Do they really think I'd believe a courier service with a number in Oklahoma is coming to the east coast? They use fake "local" numbers apparently too. (I don't live in OK but my cell has an OK number.) They never mentioned once what the debt was for and I've never received anything by mail to validate said debt.

No one showed up, but keep getting the same message saying they are going to send Paul Murray out between the hours of 2 and 5. Funny thing is that I received another call and it was a women's voice and when I called it back there was a Michelle Keller's voicemail and sounded a lot like "Linda Darwin".

I received a call this afternoon from a 4-digit phone number from a Ms. Carson stating an outstanding debt I owe to a bank and the company has been trying to contact me to summons me to court for this outstanding debt I owe.  In conversation with this individual, which I didn't catch the debt collector's name for the bank, I contacted the bank  to see if my outstanding account had been forwarded to this debt collector.  which turn out not to be this company and when I called the phone number back
855 738-3970 Ext. 110 to speak to Ms. Carson, the phone rang for a few minutes then a voicemail came on to leave a message for a Michelle.   So, I went to 800 phone number to search 855 738-3970, and saw these messages posted regarding this company, LaSalle Recovery Bureau, which the phone number listed for them started with area code 866, and that phone number according to google search of the company, the phone is listed disconnected.   Also, the bank which I owe an outstanding balance to, a bank representative told me I can pay this balance owed  at the bank or contact the collection agency where the bank had sent my account in collections and set up a payment arrangement.

The Lasalle Recovery Bureau is a real debt collection agency.  But their number does not start with 855 and they are out of Niagara Falls, NY.  If you Google them they have a website.  These scammers use this company as a front and claim to be representatives from there.  I talked to a person today on the phone at a (866) 755-9648 number that they wanted my wife to call about this delivery of documents that were supposedly coming to the house.  They have said this many times now and we have not received a thing.  The person I talked to sounded exactly like the guy leaving messages on my wife's cell phone.  I asked what company he is representing, and what the documents were in reference to, but he did not give me a straight answer what the documents were for, although he said he worked for the Lasalle Recovery Bureau and his direct line was 855-738-3970 at an extension 114.  If you ask me all these 866 and 855 numbers are all in cahoots.

They called telling me I had a payday loan balance & courier would be out to send me legal documents tomorrow between 2 & 5. When I asked information regarding who, they said it was a mother company who had 100's of lenders but the loan was for 300. The only thing that threw me off was they had my social security number. But the other info was twisted & they got frustrated when I asked questions. They sent me an email with the most basic letterhead saying i owed but still no details after 3 attempts. Kept pushing for my credit or debit card info. I told them I dont feel comfortable providing a payment when all they could tell me it could be one of 100's of companies I could possibly owe.  I dont trust it. So I'll see what happens from here but I'm not paying money to god knows who aka Natalie Owens.

I just got the same exact message.  Mine was from a Mr. Cain/King....saying I have 24 hrs to contact them back.....then its going public.  He called it his "firm".

No one will show up - they're scammers.

I'm reporting I got my first call from Lasalle today,   I knew immediately when they said my name has come up in an ongoing investigation that this was a scam I searched the name and it brought me here,  after reading three pages of post I'm certain that this is a scam it really only took a few messages to know  

Just got a call today from 888-583-7431 at my work number and then on my Cell from phone number 309-282-0709.  Trying to make it look like they were from my state.  They said the exact same thing as I am reading all of this and Paul Murray  and his ID 626CRW will be at my house between 3-5 tomorrow.  No one ever states what the debt is from our whom I owe it to.....I had paid off some pay day loans (from the internet scammers) in the past couple of years but I owe nothing now.  These people are ruthless.  I was talking with a lawyer via text and he agrees it is a scam and he was checking out the phone number postings like these and says if I want to verify it I can call and tell them to send me debt validation via mail.  I think I will wiat to see what happens tomorrow. Ill let you all know....Thanks for the postings because it definitely can shake you up at first....

I get calls like this all the time,just got one this morning that Mr kane has sent me papers in February of this year and now their going to send my name to Kane county's clerk's office I want these calls stoped their calling all the time and don't want other people getting scammed to by these people please help

Im curious, did anyone ever show up? because I also got a call from 'Linda Darwin" but she was conveniently unavailable when I called to speak to her. Im looking forward to this afternoon when she is supposed to show up with these "legal documents"

I got a voicemail (which I saved) last night from Linda Darwin claiming she would be at my residence today between 1 and 1:30 to serve me legal documents and I would need 2 forms of ID. I began to think it was a scam when she mentioned delivering to my place of employment that they have on file if I cannot be reached at my home. I am a stay at home mom, and have been for awhile. When I called the number she gave me I got the answering machine of someone with a completely different name. When I called this morning the first time I was hung up on immediately, and when I called back and asked for Linda Darwin they said just a moment, I heard them say something to someone, and then they covered the phone. When they came back they told me that Linda was not available at the moment. So I asked about the phone call. I gave them my name and without asking for any other verification the woman gave me all of the details of the paperwork, the last 4 of my social, ect. If they were legit they would NOT be giving that info over the phone. They also did not have my complete address. They only had half of the name of the MILITARY BASE where I live. She asked if I wanted to escalate this to court (a supposed payday advance loan which I never applied for or received) And I said yes, and that I would be having my husband take this information to his commander since he is in the US Air Force and they take blackmail and fraud against and government employee very seriously. We live next to NSA, she got off the phone with me rather quickly after that. I was stressed out all night wondering what the hell this was about. I feel much better now!

These people will not stop calling and harassing me. I do not owe any loans ! They are extremely rude and need to be stopped.

Call your phone service provider and file complaints and get the number blocked.  This is a extortion scam Operation and should be reported anyway. See my post above and report it to the appropriate agency's..

The same thing is going on with my 11 year-old's phone. LaSalle Recovery wants to talk to her, and the caller doesn't even use proper sentence construction. Terrible!

Received a recorded message on my voicemail from 855-477-9294.  Message said they were from the law office of The Lasalle Recovery Group and said my name had come up in an ongoing investigation and that they needed a few minutes of my time and to call 855-738-3970.  I called the number, it rang about 12 times and then a recorded message came on saying "Michelle" was not at her desk and to leave my name and phone number for her to call back.  I hung up.  Not leaving any callback information if I don't know who they are or what they're about.  I then came here and searched the 738 number and lo and behold...Lasalle's a scam.  Thanks, everyone and 800notes!   I never took out any kind of payday loan, so they have no need to contact me.  These people make me sick.

I have received the same messages on my cell phone number and they all started with two people claiming to be from my local court house. when I called the court and spoke with the clerk and gave her the names of the so called investigator's along with  a docket number they had no recollection of such names and the number never came up. Then I received a prerecorded message stating that my name came up as a person of interest an investigation. Funny thing is they used a local number but the number they told me to call was from (855)738-3970. Now today I received the same local number but a lady named Linda Darwin telling me that they are going to be delivering a package between 1 and 3 pm. I needed to be present and I needed to have a valid ID.I called the local number and all it did was ring with no answer immediately after she had called me. Also when she called it came up with a private name.  I hope they do show up because I have not received any letters in the mail notifying me about anything. It has to be certified mail through the USPS. I am not wasting my time calling these people just to have them threaten me. I have already made a report through my local police dept.

I have been getting calls from this number and two other numbers saying they want to talk to me about something. They never identify themselves or the company they are calling from. The other numbers are 330-475-7647 and 214-484-0062.
when calling them back and telling them I am not the person they are calling or that this is not their number they get rude and vulgar with you and then hang up on you. nothing but a group of people out to scam who ever they can.

If this doesn't make you suspicious I am not sure what will!  My child received a call from them saying he is a person of intrest in a investigation of a legal matter!  My child is not even a teenager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called them back advising them that if they contacted that phone number again I will contact the authorities and press charges.  They didn't even identify who they were looking for!
