unsolicited automated nusiance call from (855)-757-9615

Got a call from them stating to be Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and needed us to call 1-855-757-9615 when they called from 412-230-5987 which is in Pennsylvania (412). Never done business with them before so why do they have my name? Probably stole it from old records or information which means they are not who they say they are. If my insurance needs to reach me, they mail a letter. They NEVER call and will tell me so. Automatic RED FLAG! Definitely a SCAM.

Folks, please remember you must NEVER give out any personal info to a stranger who calls you. If you initiated the call (dialed the number), you know who you're calling so it's safe to give personal info to ID yourself. But when a stranger calls and asks for info, NEVER give it out.

I had a message on my machine stating it was Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield needing some important information and to call 855-757-9615. Sounded fishy to me, so I googled the number and found these posts.
Thanks to other for posting. I will delete the message and ignore any others.

Same as the other postings above. Caller ID says "Pittsburgh". They called twice 9 hours apart, hung up the first time, automated voice left message the second. I am A BCBS customer; I have online account, they have my email address or can send a letter.

Got a message claiming to be Anthem BCBS. Came from 412-230-5987 but directed me to call them at 18557579615. Sounds fishy.

Got a call from 855 757 9615 claiming to be Blue Cross and they needed important information from me.

Just got a call from 4122305987  saying to call them back at this number claiming to be Blue Cross and needed some important information from me.  Sounds like a phishing scam.
