While on vacation for several weeks, EVERY DAY I received nasty, rude &  threatening calls from 855-773-1314.  When I returned today, I called them back but could not understand their company name.  The man immediately hung up on me.  I called back, got a different man & he very rudely said "Listen to me-- Listen to me this time---it's N&G Capital".  I said I do not know the person's name they are threatening me about & he started yelling at me.  Are they allowed to threaten people that have NOTHING to do with them?  Why would any reputable company conduct business is such a nasty threatening manner?

I've been getting harrassing phone calls from them. They call back several times over and over again when you hang up on them. It's probably a bill collector from a very old Capital One account that was written off 5 years ago. In State of Texas, they can't really do anything if you don't own nothing.

I'm getting Sam White threatening my bank account because of a cash atm withdrawal and call immediately or my lawyer must call or they'll forever change banking as we know it and also said he could get my SS # from the other pain in the company from 8557731314 claiming the same stuff but their caller "Mike Reynolds" (I must say, the call centers have improved on their English) calls from a restricted number and tells you all kinds of scary things and you must call 8552232727 immediately. They switched on me today after I told the restricted number "Mike" to grow some and show me and the world his phone number instead of hiding. Hah. But watch. This Mike Reynolds found my deceased husband's ex wife who hasn't been around for at least 27 years and lived in West Virginia and gave her my unlisted phone number and asked for her SS# and he'd get her benefits.  That is MAJOR fraud pretending to be a SS employee. I already started the fraud reporting to social security, our attorney general, my bank and the FBI.

Ellen, this company is legit, however they do have illegal collecting practices. I had an account with US bank that went overdrawn. I, like everyone else received a threatening phone call, so I decided to so some investigating myself. I called US Bank myself and followed the trail of buyers whom had purchased the account which ended with SouthWestern Investment Group, who is managed by N&G Capital. However, the owner of SouthWestern was unaware of their behavior and I told him he may want to google it and he would find all the identical situations of the people they are calling. He also confirmed they are NOT allowed to say certain things but also stated that his firm purchases my account 4/15/13 and they outsource their collecting to several different companies, 1 being N&G Capital.

After I received a call at 11:35am today 5-7-2013 from number 855-773-1314 I called them back this stupid pig head guy told me he was looking for Cynthia Brown she had a lawsuit on a check fraud and I told him she never lived here plus his number was in " Fed's no call list" because they have been calling here many times then he said he didn't care for Fed's no call list (go back to your country)....he was such stupid fool &ignorant ...I checked my voicemail they left me a threatening message as well somebody has to stop these kinds of harassments by these a$$holes someday..

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANKING INFORMATION.

They use databases, probably pull your credit.  They also get info from payday loan companies and creditors who sold them the debt, often when the debt is no good.

I got the same message about having my lawyer contact them concerning a bank transaction. They referred to me by my maiden name. I've been married for 5 years now. They also called and left a message on my parents answering machine for me stating the same thing. I haven't lived there in 7 years. It was a guy that called me and a women that called my parents.

This number called today and an automated voice message said they had information concerning a bank transaction and I should have my lawyer call them.

Sam Wienstein called on an automated pre-recorded message stating that they have a case in my name and it will effect my check writing and banking situation.  Stating I need to call them back and verify my banking information or they will proceed with negative reporting on my credit.

Received a call from 8557731314 stating to get an attorney and will be contacting my job. They did not leave a name.

I keep receiving these calls from James Rogers and they all say the same thing, now they are calling my former employee leaving messages on other numbers and also stating that I will be served a summons to appear in court alos they will contacting my supervisor and HR department to be a witness to receiving a summons......also at the end of the message it ask to call 855-773-1314 volunotarily so that you can be served......REALLY!!! Also when you call someone picks up by the name (Brad Ryan and says to Legal)

Report the call to the FTC

They could have purchased your debt from someone with this information.  Even if the debt is valid, collectors have to follow laws.   It's possible that N&G has purchased non-zombie debt.  But they also (1) pretend to be a law firm when they are not; (2) have changed their address from someone's house to a shopping mall (3) leave voicemails in which their employees violate FDCPA; (4) use scripts that are outright fiction; (5) leave different BS voicemails with the same person.

So maybe you're an outlier, or you're a potential victim that they are managing to scare, or you work for N&G Capital.

Report them to the FTC also.

That was just during the period when I was hacked.  It's back up.
