I have come home from work the past two days to a message from an angry woman, stating that the call is for (a first & last name) someone that is not related to me and has never lived in my home!! I have had this phone number for 23 years!! She is very threatening, stating to whomever that this is their final call to take care of the charges and claims against them, etc!! The reference this number. I did finally call back today and told them that they have the wrong number. UGH!!

Harassing phone call stating i have charges for an unpaid bill in an old name from 10years ago. Which i do believe the statue of limitations is 7years. They are relentless and are unable to give me any information unless i sign for it. I know its a scam because any type of leagal papers would be presented to me by my towns legal court system or the sheriff's office. It is a company which had bought old debts that have been discharged due to time limitations and are trying to collect for themselves with outrageous fees.
