I received the 1855 811 8330 with any reference number to tell me that I own money. Its always a different amount at each time and im with Bell now! I called the Police and told me to call the Anti-Fraude number.
I ask to speak with a supervisor they hung up on me.

Same as above, very rude guy keeps calling saying we owe money, I told him to talk to my husband (as its his name on the account and he pays the bill), but he didnt call him and instead keeps calling saying there is an outstanding balance with Virgin. Number has shown up 'Private' and '1-855-811-8330' and that is the number he gave me. He told me his name was Jason. We also cancelled our contract recently but have no outstanding amount.

Receive *daily* calls from this number (well, rather that's the number the guy leaves on the answering machine)  The message is "This is a message from Virgin Mobile, we need to speak to you today, our number is 1-855-811-8330"  And the call display usually only shows "Private Caller" but today it was "Unavailable number"....so have tried blocking the 1-855 number but calls still go through :(( Seriously displeased!!

Have been in contact with Virgin as we were at one time clients, but they say we have no outstanding balances and that they do not have any contact numbers that begin with 855  - maybe they should start going after this caller and stop them before they get people so annoyed at Virgin for not doing something, that they cancel their contracts/cell phones with them!

These guys definitely up to something fishy! (phishy?)  Time for the phone companies (Telus/Rogers/Shaw/Virgin/Koodo/ etc) to start doing something about stopping &/or blocking all of these unwanted phone calls, especially when they are found to be nefarious!!

i as well have gotten a phone call saying the were virgin mobile and i don't have an account with them. i do dont wish to phone that number but would like to report it or block but dont know how??

I believe this is some sort of phishing scam. I recently cancelled my Virgin Account so I thought this could be legitimate. They don't leave a message with you name or phone number and when you call they demand private information about your bank. I will be reporting them as soon as possible.

Got a call later saying they were with Virgin Mobile the call came up "private number" he started asking for personal info which I didn't give. I closed out my virgin account 6 months ago! Don't owe them a penny! The guy was quite rude I asked for his number he gave me 1-855-811-8330.

Repeated calls from this number when nobody in the house has a Virgin Mobile account. Suspect scam.

I am receiving calls from this number saying they are from Virgin Mobile. I do not have an account with Virgin.

We are getting calls daily. Message does not identify either customer or phone number they are calling about.

Have called Virgin on their posted customer service number and they said that they do not have numbers that start with "855".  Should there truly be an issue with our account, they would identify the account holder and what the issue is when leaving the message.

Consider this a scam/phishing call.

I report these calls to the police services online complaints site. Sometimes a very nice representative of the local constabulary calls me to let me know that they've tracked down the offending individual(s) and given them the "option" to stop harrassing people.

Virgin Mobile - you probably have the means to track down and prosecute these criminals in order to preserve your reputation but in the meantime readers might try doing what I did.

They call here from Virgin mobile they say, I don't have an account with them.....I just hang up....grrrr

three to four phone calls a day claiming to be from Virgin.  What a pain!  Account is in good standing, and Virgin confirms that this is NOT coming from them

I've received two calls like this in the past that were left on the answering machine saying: it's Virgin Mobile - call this number today - it's urgent... I've never called it back... It has to be a SCAM... I have a rarely used prepaid Virgin cell account, with which there can be no debt collections issue... EVER... since I only ever buy another $100 prepaid card whenever I am running out of minutes... nothing to collect there... no monthly bill... ignore it....

I received a call from a private number that left a voicemail, saying to call back at this number. My phone is a newly activated TELUS phone.

Needless to say, I'm not going to bother picking this up, ever.
