First of all Phil, don't let them get to you. That's what car insurance is for, 2 of my children actually got calls and letters from insurances companies and lawyers stating that they wanted to take them to court for damages, etc. As long as you have insurance they are supposed to contact them. They cannot personally sue you as long as car insurance is in place. The worse that can happen is your insurance company will drop you and you'll get surcharges from the DMV. I got this information from the insurance company themselves. I live in NJ but I'm sure most states have this policy.
To the people on here claiming that they were taken to court, more than likely it wasn't from this company. No credit card, loan company or even student loan company has the authority to garnish your wages unless it is government run. Everyone on here who commented that this number is a scam is correct. I've gotten calls from these people and was left automated messages but I've never answered or even tried to call them back. It's true, legitimate collections agencies will send you written notice before they call. Calling is usually done as a last resort from not being contacted with the written notices. They only want your information so that they can take your money any way they can.

I am disabled with many mental issues and when I get calls from these long out of town numbers it makes my anxiety so bad I can't concentrate on anything. I get so stressed out by it. They then call my poor mother in Florida and say they need my social and other information to close out something, it was inaudible.
I think it may have to do with a traffic accident where my tire fell off and hit the oncoming car. The man who's car it hit at the time said it was only like $400 or less in damage. I then received something in the mail saying they are suing me for almost 3,000 and it is scary because I have no extra money, I have my disability check and I have more bills because I was a normal citizen working at a very large reputable company so I got paid well. I ended up having to sell anything I had so not sure what they expect out of me.
If they really want to rip off someone why not go after the Ford company because my hub broke off even though all my lug nuts were still on before the tire broke off and almost caused me to hit the man head on and we would both probably be dead but I was able to ride the axle with sparks flying and keep it on the right until i got off the roadway.

I received a call from this number. It is a man,s voice. Who he is or what company he represents is not on the answering machine message he left. A computerized voice leaves a case number then he returns and says "this is not a solicitation and we are expecting an immediate response." The caller I'd shows the call from the Atlanta GA area (404)334-9539. I am unable to get connected to either number.

Caller ID says "1-214-310-1099" but the message had a callback number of 1-855-812-3816, "Coral Arbitration Group". Typical stupid scammer trying to trick me into giving them money for nothing. I know how legitimate debt collectors work and how scammers work.

If you have all of the information on the account that is due on, why don't you send a letter instead of leaving a message?
| Gimmie.A.Break 2014-04-03 00:56:07 Unknown |
Thank you for providing that info. It helps, as there are so many frauds going.

If you are an legit collections firm then you need to send something in writing instead of threatening/harassing phone calls which is ILLEGAL! When a person asks for something in writing about a debt is REQUIRED BY LAW for you provide that! Anybody with sense isn't going to do any kind of business over the f****ng phone! Provide some damn proof of a debt!

I get phone calls almost 3x a week from this coral Arbitration. Every time it's a different area code. I've had Florida, New York, Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon. But every time it's the same recorded message with the same guy's voice. No information about himself, a case number, or even why they are calling. Every time I call back any of those numbers, it says the number is not in service.
Don't trust it. Real company's will send you official notices/declarations in the mail.
