I called the number and punched in 123456789101112. I hope that they will not be able to hack my phone because I called.

SCAMMERS - Do they think everybody is that stupid???

Just received a text stating to call 4168484335 due to BOA issue.  They wanted  to know SSN# and card info.  I hung up as soon as they wanted the SSN#.........BEWARE!!!  THE ARE SCAMMERS!

someone text form this number  I don't have a B O A  account and will not call number  scam

I got a text from 416 848-4335 that said ALERT B of A issue.  I think it's a scam.  

I also live in the 209 area and have a Verizon phone.

My text came from 387114@vtext.com telling me I have a B O A issue and to contact (416) 848-4335

just got one too in california

I'm also in 209 area code with a verizon phone and got the same BOA text msg. They are drilling down area codes, it seems.

I got the BOA attention text too, no way in hell I'm calling. I check my account online enough to know if there was a problem. I'm from the 209 too. Stupid people.

I received a text message from 95500@vtext.com saying, "Call 1(416)8484335 [AccountOfBOA-Issue]."   Looks like another credit-card related scam attempt.  I did not call the number.

Mine said BOA members needs immediate attention call  .....
I contacted my bank they said many people calling in to complain this alert showing up on their phones as text.

The number below claims they are my Bank of America debit company.  I called the number and it asked for my
social security #. I hung up.  Phone #416-848-4335

Suckers called looking for private data such as S S #    Told  them to pack it where the sun dont shine !

IT IS IN (305) area code now same message as other BOA issue DO NOT CALL I got the TXT 30 min ago....

Got text. No way will I call them. Has to be a scam.

Just got one of these same messages going out to 239 area code folks.  So annoying...it's too bad we can't be compensated for our troubles by whoever leaks this info.

I got a text from 416-848-4335 claiming a BOA credit card issue last night but I didn't call.

Text message: Call about an urgent issue with your Bank of America account. Well, I don't have an account with them...

Just got a text Contact 1-416-848-4335 [AccountOfBOA-Issue].
Long time Verizon customer in Florida.
They can bet their BOA Account that I won't be calling them back.

I forwarded the text message to homeland security, since it is using a Canadian number for you to call.
 Also forwarded the text to abuse@bankofamerica.com

Another scammer 4168484335 and i found out they are getting the phonr number from verizon and craigslist
