855-832-0321 scavenger debt collectors

someone called looking for my mother who I haven't spoken to since 07 and my phone number is only 8 months old

All this week 855-832-0321 keeps calling at dinner and last night at 8:45 PM Eastern Standard Time. I do not answer the phone but on my answering machine I hear keyboard clicking. So rude next time I'm just going to pick up the phone and slam it down on them, there that'll fix 'em-LOL

Somehow called my spouse and said it was a private matter and wouldn't talk to him

Called and asked my name said 'one second' wouldn't tell me who they were with or why they were calling. Transferred me to a lady who asked 'how she could help'.  Said 'you called me' and she started looking me up wouldn't answer who she was with so I hung up

This number calls me twice a day and leaves the same message saying they are trying to collect a debt.

I saw that I had a missed call from this number, so I called it back.  The man who answered asked for my name.  I gave it to him and he said he couldn't find my name in the system after some keyboard clicking.  He then said he could look me up by Social Security number.  I said, "Nope, but nice try though!" and hung up.  I conclude they are scammers.
