Got the invoice from them too. Our receptionist confirmed our address and then the $500 invoice shows up. Do not pay this bill! If you do, you are only supporting the scammers and they will be able to continue ripping people off. You should call the Canadian Anti Fraud Center at 1-888-495-8501 and report them. The more people that file a complaint, the more of a case they can build up against these crooks. They will give you all the free advice you need. They told me DO NOT pay this bill. They also told me they cannot send a legit collections agency after you because they are not registered with Equifax. In order to collect from someone, they have to be registered with Equifax. If they do have a collections agency after you, it is probably them claiming to be a collection agency. The CAFC told me that if that happens, they would like to hear about that as well.

There is no way they would take anyone to court because the judge would arrest them on the spot because what they are doing is illegal. They will just try to bully and scare you into paying. They have no power unless you give it to them. I just tell my receptionist to not answer their number or hang up on them. Any invoices I get in the mail I put "return to sender" on it and also write "SCAM" in big letters. Any faxes asking for my credit card, I write "Yah right!" on it. They will eventually go away, but return as a different company, so be on your toes!

Got a call from "Helen" An Aggressive older lady, stating I ordered Google, online business crap and such. They asked for business info, which I gave, address, Postal code etc.. They then started harassing me stating that I need to pay this invoice for $581. I told them that I never agreed to anything which then they played me this phoney Chopped message with me constantly saying yes to every question. I would never buy anything without doing my homework first. Anyway, they said I talked to Jennifer, Margaret and finally Lillian from collections. The list goes on and on. She threatened me that this would be going to equifax and other credit burrows. I asked for her supervisor or manager and like the others, she didnt have one. I told her not to call me again but im sure they will....

I never signed up to anything they were trying to sell me and I just recieved 2 bills from them for 524.00

They called our manager to confirm our mailing address and touched on the topic of advertising.  When my manager told them he was confused they finished askign about the mailing address and hung up.  We then received a bill for $685 and when I complained they played back the recoording confirming our address and said we ordered product.  I'm not paying, what a bunch of leaches.

Thought I had heard the last of these jerks, hadn't had a call from them for at least 6 months.  Got a call today from an american number (855-834-2276) yup, same one.  I said please send it to collections and hung up.  

I received a call from this number on april 22 the woman on the other end was a fast talking loud person. She said that she needed to verify all my information. I said yes to the information being true. Then she proceeds to tell me I will be receiving an invoice for 500 dollars. I have never contacted any one from this company ever. Now its may 5 and I received a package in the mail with a CD and a shipping slip that says an invoice will be sent to me at a later date I WILL NOT BE PAYING ANY INVOICE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was also scammed into signing up. When i tried to cancel, the man on the phone started shouting at me and saying i was recorded saying i wanted the service, i asked for a copy of the recording and he wouldnt reply. Has anyone actualy been reported to the credit bureau over this?

Just got back after a week away from my office I received a dozen faxes and my voicemail is full what do they want from me???

CBPO has called numerous times and have been told to STOP!  I have blocked them, but they just call from a new number.  Rude, inconsiderate operators with questionable telemarketing tactics!

They will not be getting a cent from me. I am going to go on line and report them.

Hi everyone, we had gotten the same call. Sadly, I received a dvd, which was burned off you can see it on the back. Our business was not listed. An invoice to follow and today I sent them this link plus an e-mail. I also cc'ed it to the anti-fraud department and rcmp.  I will keep you updated if I hear but I did tell them to not contact me as I will charge them.  I also had a call from another "company" but no phone number was listed, apparently they were similar to google (results would show on google) - used the same tactic, you had a subscription last year.  How do these idiots get your information? I hope they all get caught and fined a high price.

Just called me.  it was Ricky calling to update my Canada Business Pages online listing (which I don't ever remember agreeing to) and I just hung up quietly because I am so tired of all the stupid calls.

I seem to have the exact same problem they keep making harrasing calls from an unlisted number with some guy being a total jack a**.  Can they actually hurt your credit rating every time I try to call them it goes straight to a mssg. Who are the best people to contact over this matter?

This company keeps calling my business number and cell number telling me a different story each time to pressure me to pay for a service to advertise my business. The first time I had just finished talking with 411 and Google and then they called. it did not make sense that they will call again within half hour telling me they were google and 411. When I asked the name of the company he gave me Canada business on line but I can not locate this web site. They still keep calling and I hang up now they call private number so I can not tell that they are the ones calling until they start again threatening to cut my service which I don't have with them and send me to a collection agency.

I asked for their company name and looked it up today and could not find it. I almost bought it but what did it was the lack of English speaking reps calling me. This is a scam. They are calling non-stop to collect money from me for advertising my company on-line.

Don't worry one minute about these scum bags, they have a script they follow and a whole bunch of phoney business names they steal under. Don't pay them a cent and laugh when they threaten to take you to collections. They can't do anything to your credit ratings.

I'm so angry that I fell for their scam by Canada Business Pages Online!! I've advertised for only yellow pages in the past and when Marlene called, I was in the middle of something and assumed that they were calling from the Yellow Pages in regards renewing their online advertising, so I verbally agreed. In the past from dealing with yellow pages, they mail me a contract in which I have to sign and return to them. Fast forward, a few weeks later....Marlene kept calling me saying that the directory was returned to them. Confused as to what the directory was...i assured her that it was the correct address for my company. Finally she sent it via. registered mail. After I opened the invoice...i was confused was to what this bill $626.30 was for because it was NOT from yellow pages. I followed up with a call and asked her what is this service, because clearly they aren't yellow pages. I told her that I was not interested in their crappy webpage and please cancel whatever the service is. She told me it was too late, i'm already in the directory. I told her to remove me and that I will not pay for a service that I did not agree on, I did not sign a contract. I told her that I would like to speak to her supervisor which I left a voice msg but did not get a call back for.

It's been 3 months and I'm still getting invoices and calls from them, after I've told them that I want this service cancelled. Today, a crazy lady named Gloria called me. I explained to her that I did NOT order this service. How can I renew something that I never ordered to begin with? She continued to yell at me, so I hung up. She called by several times leaving rude messages on my machine stating that...if I do not pay by friday...it's even better because she'll send me to collections, add interest and late fees for 7 years, report me to the credit and make a banner ad on Google, stating that my company is a "dead-beat company"! What kind of a company is this? Threatening people?! I rather spend my money on a lawyer than give them a dime if it does come to this. People like this is worst than scum!!! Their website is a joke...they do NOT provide any services and they are trying to scam people by harassing them. I refuse to deal wit scumbags like these!

We too have received an unsolicited low-tech to no-tech DVD in the mail that was sent back with a letter stating we did not nor have ever had a contract with this company.  They are continuing to send us invoices and periodically call to "confirm out contact info".  I'm so glad to have found this page and have my suspicions that this is a scam confirmed.
