I've had the same issue, Yes I have some outstanding debts.  But I will not talk to anyone on the phone unless they send me notification in writing first.  They ask too much personal information for my comfort zone

I just got a voicemail from "Diane from EOSCCA regarding an important business matter" her extension is 14304. Considering I was just diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, these people can go to hell. Ive got more important things to worry about then thier bills right now..... And if they refuse to inform me what EOSCCA is then I will keep refusing the calls.

I got the same thing from a woman by the name of Diane. She said she was calling from EOSCCA. Yeah, just another debt collector.

I am receiving calls from this number once or twice a day.  This time I called but and a woman named Sue from extension 12575 told me that she couldn't find my number in their records.  So I told her, "I am also recording this conversation. If I am going to receive more call from you, I will sue you Sue".

They called me because I'm in the phone book. They really wanted to locate other people with the same last name as me. But they just asked me to forward the number I called to a couple of relatives they named and they would take my number off the list of calls they were making.

They called asking for my day with the Extension Number of  #12523

This number has called over 100 times, and is asking for someone who is not us. ENOUGH!!!!!

I will make a complaint or call just give me the number. Anyone else on board?

I just sent them a cease and desist letter informing them that they are to stop calling our number as we are not who they are looking for.  We shall see if this works.  I'm so over their calling several times a day!  They've been told that we are not who they are looking for yet they continue to call so we really don't have a choice but to do this.  We shall see if this works.  I'm so over all of this!

It's a scam for sure I had a call from them as well and I never had a bill from Winchester Hospital.  They count on you assuming it's an old bill from another time period and it turns out to be a scam.  Tell them to send you a physical copy of the issue in the regular mail. I did and doubt if I will hear from them.  Most debt collectors that are ligit tell you why they are calling as soon as you confirm they have the right person, without giving you the third degree trying to illicit all kinds of information from you.  Identity theft is getting more and more clever.  You did the right thing

THEY CALL TO MY CELL TO SPEAK WITH MY HUSBAND. HE AUTHORIZED ME TO SPEAK WITH THEM AND THE REALLY RUDE KEEP SAYING THE NAME OF A COMPANY BUT SHE REFUSE TO TELL ME WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IT WAS AND WHY THEY WERE CALLING SHE ONLY WANT ME TO CONFIRME DATE OF BIRTH AND OTHER DETAILS WHICH I DIDNT. SHE SAID WELL I HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER AND THE ADDRESS SO I NEED TO CONFIRM IS YOU. I ONLY TOLD HER TO SEND A LETTER LOL, SHE GET ME REALLY UPSET

we got a call from this company but they wouldn't identify themselves. Asked for my husband and then asked for birthdate, etc. he wouldn't give it to them. they then threatened him and said that there would be a lawsuit! we don't owe anyone...

I received a call this morning. It was a real woman (not a recorded message). She knew my first name, didn't mention the last name. She identifies herself Collection Agency. What she was saying was "we have an account at your name, do you want to confirm the birthdate? She gave me a date actually; I was in the hospital that day. What I did, I called all the hospitals, insurance and Mass, to confirm that the lady had me, and all have confirmed that I do not owe anything, my balance is zero. That?s not okay.

Yes, you CAN block your number via *67 to an 800 number. I just did it now.

The automated voice identified itself as a collection agency, and indicated that all subsequent information was personal and private.  The voice requested that someone who has NEVER had my telephone number return this call to another number.  (The only amusing part of all of this is/was that I actually knew the person being contacted!)  I was "told" that if I was NOT the person being sought that my continuing to stay on the line would be ILLEGAL.  These unscrupulous folks called ME.  How rude!  
Subsequently, I called the number on my Caller-ID [800-792-5130], and was never able to reach a person.  The other toll-free number that was part of all of this is/was 855-220-2822.  That number is an automated switchboard for requesting that 800-792-5130 not call again.  I put their own number, as well as my own, into their system!

called on saturday morning from a real person. They knew my first name. They tried to obtain my birthday saying I have an account with them. They identify as USFEA, but didn't answer to my repeated questions about what that is supposed to mean or to be. At the end she hanged up.

IT IS SOME KIND OF SCAM.

This repeated a couple of times, at the end she hanged up.

It is apparent to me that they are not legitimate otherwise they would identify themself, and also she was very rude in asking trying to put pressure. I am wondering how they had my name and number, but it seems clear to me they wanted to access to other presonal data of mine, and I wonder why..

Some people in the above conversation, seem to be sure that they are a legit credit recovery company, but nobody says on which base they are so sure, and the fact that they may have a webpage with this number doesn't mean they are real. I had some contact with collection agencies in the past for bills I had forgotten to pay, and they don't act like this for sure.

This is some kind of hoax. For months we have been getting automated calls from this number, or other with the same message - for my daughter whose married name has NEVER been associated with our number. I simply hang up, but the calls have continued for months. I will not call the number they give because I am sure this is some kind of scam.

Contact the Massachusetts attorney Generals Office and file a complaint on their website.  MA has very strict laws on how, when & where these people can contact you.  If these laws are violated, you can sue for damages.  You should keep a diary of the calls and how many times you told them not contact you.

I get messages on my voice mail:  This is a call for .... (who is NOT me).  Then the person says, "if you are NOT.... hang up now and call 855-220-2822.  If you do not hang up, you are confirming that you are ...." Of course, since it's voice mail, I can't hang up!  Finally they say it's a collection agency trying to retrieve a debt.  It's always about the same person who is not related to me and does not share a last name.

I just got the same thing. They call numerous times. Telling you to call 1 800 792 5130 and give you a reference # . I too checked my caller ID and the number that you call is the same number where call originated from. I was on hold for 10 minutes, then the call went thru and all it did was ring over and over again. Someone needs to stop whoever these people are. Unreal. They claim they are EEOCA...whoever that is.

Collection agency for past due/ outstanding medical bills (procedures/ER visits etc)

I've never even heard of that hospital and yet they called my house this evening. I did not answer and they left no message.

These people called my home twice in a 4 minute span waking my husband up. Seeing as he got home from work at 9am he was NOT impressed.  They are looking for a woman named Paula who had our number prior to us. We've asked them and all the others who call looking for her not stop calling us as we do not know who she is  and we are not them.  They call us liars and hang up.  I've reported them several times but it does no good.  I'm just sick to death of this!  They've woken my husband up way too many times!

This # calls us all the time looking for a Tracey Johnson.... she is in collections for numerous things and uses our number (have had for over 15 years) on her applications.  We have explained repeatedley that she does not live her nor do we know her.  but they say the computer will always recycle our number and will be be called again. They are harrasing us and nothing seems to help...

We keep getting recorded messages from these lowlifes looking for a Paula.. We've told them NUMEROUS times that we are not Paula and we do not know who she is!  We've only had this number for 13 months.  They say they'll remove our number but they do not.. This time we will be telling them if they contact us again we will pursue any/all legal action against them!  They just don't list and don't care!

this place calls my cellphone 3-4 times a day. it says that if i have received this message in error press 1 to have my name removed from their list......so i do and it only direcrts me to nothing. i called the number to see where it is from and a woman answers and says "hello, thanking you for calling EROCASS something like that i say hello she says hello a couple of times and then hangs up. i do not know who this could be, but it is very frustrating and i need to know how to stop/block these calls.

I am interested in anyone who was troubled by Winchester Hospital and bill collection. WH is a non-profit hospital that gives less than 1% of care to people who cannot pay, then harasses them with bill collection. Non-profits aren't supposed to do that, and I want to try to find a network of people who are willing to complain to the AG and either get Winchester Hospital to start honoring their non-profit duties or remove their non-profit status.

Just received a call from these people.  As the number was unidentified let the answering machine get it.  Said they were EOS CCA, a collection agency.  Called them back and confirmed I was not the JW they were looking for, but it is irritating as heck to have to deal with this crap.  As a person suffering from chronic health problems with other family members also in poor health, jumping up running back & forth 2 the phone this is an unnecessary stressor for this type of stuff. This has happened 2 me B4.  I've had people give my name out as a credit reference unbeknownst to me, so I sometimes suspect this has something to do with that.  I always try to call unidentified numbers back however because there have been instances where there have been legitimate calls from credit card companies trying to verify that purchase activity on a credit card is really  mine or some other legit business.  But the the info on this site is good and will probably be helpful 2 me in the future. I have two different lines on  my home, this number calls both lines multiple times a day multiple time a week. The message they leave is for someone else, I have answered the phone and they say if this person does not live here press 3 I do so, the message says like "sorry, thank you ,Goodbye".. but the calls continue to come in fo that name..Irritating!
