TAG ALSO CALLED ME YESTERDAY WITH A PRIVATE NUMBER ... I DIDNT ANSWER SO THEY CALLED MY HUSBANDS NUMBER MY MOTHERS NUMBER WHICH HER NUMBER IS NOT LISTED .... AND CALLED ALL OVER MY FAMILY MEMBER WHICH I DONT SPEAK TO .. THIS.IS CRAZY AND ITS GETTING OVER BOARD WITH THIS COMPANY ... THEY TOLD ALL OF MY FAM. MEMBERS THAT I HAD TO SIGN A DOCUMENT OR I WAS GOIN TO GO TO JAIL.. OR THEY WERE GOING TO COME TO MY HOME AND LOOK FOR ME .. HOW CAN I STOP THIS ... PLEASE HELP ME...

Bottom line - if a "collections agency" refuses to mail you documentation proving you owe the debt to them (legally required per FDCPA), then they have no proof you do owe this debt.  No proof of debt = you owe them nothing!

TAG is the name of the "law firm" which stated they purchased a uncollectable debt and are now pursuing for litigation on grounds of bad check and fraud against a financial institution.  Man stated the case had been filed at the county level, when I asked which county he said "I don't know - wherever you live".   Said documentation was mailed to an address I lived at over 10 years ago, refused to resend the documentation to my present address and told me good luck and I could handle the matter once I got the documents served to me. Then they hung up.  Debt is from 2 1/2 years ago so my best guess since I have never received any documents nor are they even current on my address, name, or county I reside in that this is a low, life debt collector making threats that cannot be supported or followed through on.

I have gotten several calls, messages to call this place, same as most of the other responses they are rude threaten me to sue me and that they will serve me. I dont even know what this is for either????

They are called tag, apparently they are a 3rd party company who bought old debt from a online loan company. They purchased the contact info for a fraction of the debt, they also are rude! When I asked them to send me some information proving what the debt is actually from. Then they apparently got upset when asked and wouldn't quit asking if I wanted to settle this personally or in court, and that they can't send more documents because they did last year! "Yeah Right" Any legitimate company seeking money owed from a consumer would not have a issue with re-sending! They are a b***s*** company with old information and they threaten to deliver sealed documents to your place of work or home, they are in a different state and the debt is from over three years ago! This is funny because statues of limitations from a business is 1 yr! Don't believe them and do not give any personal information to these frauds, all they are are f****ng telemarketers who don't know anything about business law, and or the states statues of limitations!!!

What exactly is this number? Someone keeps leaving me a message to call this number.
