Time Warner is at it again....argh.  No message left.

Just received  another call from this number on my cell phone.. Seems to be from TWC,  my service provider of all but by cell phone..

My guess is that Annoying sales calls from TWC  will not increase their business...    Anyway,  they have two of my email addresses.. Use Them..

Anytime I receive a call from one of these scam artists, after ignoring it, I make a new contact from the number and for the name I put SCAM. That way, when they call again, I know right away not to answer it.

It is indeed Time Warner trying to pimp their mobile 4G service. Call the number back, press 9 when prompted and give your name and number to be added to their do not call list.

June, 8th 2011 at about 3:14pm CT received a call. Answered but nothing. Dead connection. Came here to discover it is TWC which I am a customer.

This is Time Warner marketing. They call everyday, relentlessly. Is there a way to get rid of these calls?

It is Time Warner promoting their new service. Actually sounds pretty good.

I returned the call and it is in fact Time-Warner (calling mostly their own customers). They have a menu option to leave a message and add your number to "their do not call" list. I let them know what I thought of them in the message, so I’ll probably get more calls and worse Internet now.

claimed to be Time Warner and is promoting a 4G service. Asked to confirm name and address. Then call dropped. Very suspicious.

some one calling from this number almost 3 days in a row

6 call in 3 days, 7th today & just getting started. never leaves message

Call received 2 days in a row at roughly the same time in the morning (9:15 AM Eastern Time). Nobody on the other end of the call when pick up and I stay on long enough for an auto-dialer to transfer me to a human being. Very strange

my number is registered with 'do not call.gov'; who is using this phone number? no message left.

I am also a TWC customer. I got the call at work so I couldn't talk but I picked it up and listened. No one said anything nor did a recording play.

Yes it it TWC I called them back and it gave me the sales pitch.  Got to hate TWC

I've received phone calls from this number twice a day for the last five days in a row, and haven't picked it up knowing it's a telemarketer.  I finally googled the number today, and found this thread.

I'm on the do not call registry, so I tried to file a complaint on www.donotcall.gov/.  They allowed me to file the complaint, however, I was informed that since I'm a Time Warner Cable customer, they are legally allowed to call, and I need to ask them directly to put my phone number on their company do not call list.  

I don't want to answer any phone calls from this number, so I took katmando62's advice, and blocked the number through verizon.  It took me awhile to figure out how to do this, so for anyone else who has verizon, just follow the instructions below:

Log into your verizon online account
Scroll over My Services
Spam Controls
Add the phone numbers
Apply

You can put in up to 5 numbers and the block lasts 90 days. After 90 days, you have to re-enter the phone number. There is no cost to this option. If you need a longer-term block, then setup Usage Controls.  $4.99 a month and you can block up to 20 phone numbers at a time.

We receive call from this number daily at least 3~4 times per day!
It is time warner internet.

This is NOT Time Warner. This is a SCAM. Unbelievable that telemarketer scammers are now posting fake messages on this board. Do NOT pick up the phone, do NOT answer any questions, and definitely do NOT sign up for "a wireless interest card that uses satellite instead of cellular service."

The odd grammar / faked enthusiasm is a dead giveaway, buddy.

You can block this number if you are a verizon customer ... Just sayin' cuz I did!
