I was able to backtrack the text destiation.  It claims it is from "MAURITANIA".  The actual number it originates from is 222-227-5935. Mauritania is in North Africa.  I think you all can figure out the rest.

I was sent a text saying that Q1 is giving away a $100 cash rewards card for 5 minutes of my time.They want me to answer a short survey by calling this # 855-853-0341 and its all mine.Reply stop to opt out.I hope someone can take's this scum down.What a scam this person is doing to people

text take survey for a giftcard for 100 dollars.

My GF just got hit by these scammers!  They are hammering everyone!!  ARGH!!

My provider is T-Mobile.  I am on a do not call list, yet I am still receiving these texts.  I had another from a different number in California, blocked of course.  Both said "reply stop to opt out" which I did for both texts.  I called the number 855-853-0341 from my work # and spoke to someone who said that they are a company called Customer Rewards and the reason I was contacted is bc I entered my cell number somewhere online.  He said if you respond "stop" these messages will stop.

I just got the same text...kind of scary to think how easy it is for other people in a totally different country to get my number..wow..what idiots!

It is a scam.....if you punch in 877-456-6289 you will get the same kind of info...if you try to call this to complain about the long wait for a card it apologizes and then you will be forwarded to a dead link to complain...hahaahhah sunzas...dont give anyone your card number

Yes I got a text message at 17:30 12/8. saying to call to. IF they are giving away a $100.00 surely they should also pay the mailing..... Sounds like a scam. ONce you give them your information for payment of processing. just watch that account and all the charges that may appear.... nothing is that easy 4 questions $25.00 each.....

Yea I received the same txt message and I called the number and they want me to answer 4 questions then I can receive the rewards card all I have to do is pay a $2.95 processing fee.  I don't trust it. Did you call the number back?
