i was contacted by a wells Fargo telemarketing company today and was hung up when i began to explain that i already had some policies with state farm. i do not know what number to call to file a complaint as legal requirements do not permit this type of business.

Got about 4 calls from this number since January. I tried picking up once but the caller hung up before I could say anything. Tried texting the number too to ask why he/she keeps calling but never replies.

I am constantly getting this call & I checked on it before & people say it's Wells Fargo telemarketers. So I am sure it is since I have an account from there but despite your advice to call ball every strange number, I am strongly advising against that. There are many scam callers outside this country (Dom. Rep.) for one, that call & hope that you will call back because the number you are calling is a toll number. One person was charged $28,000 by their phone company & there was nothing the phone company could do but pass the charges on to that customer because she actually placed the call. Callers can spoof their calls to make them appear to originate from the US.

This is a scam, anytime you get a call from a strange # call it back. Do that with any # you don't recognize. Most times they belong to scammers trying to get peoples vital information so they can steal their homes. Don't all the banks, change your phone #. These people are relentless and won't give up. What I can't understand is who is working within these banking institutions that is giving out client information. Also, be careful of some websites. Don't be fooled if the website has the lock at the bottom in order to be authentic is must also have https: in the address bar. Scammers invent these sites to get information. I suggest any sight that asks for your personal information be ignored. Do not order anything on line, do not use on line bill paying and do not enter any contests on line, only order from stores that you have a friendly, previous relationship with, stores, businesses who already have your last 4 credit card #'s. Be careful

Received a call from this number at 3:07pm. Did not answer, no message was left. Tried calling the number back right away. Got an error tone and notice that the number has been disconnected. No reputable business would use this type of contact activity.
