i got a call they said i owed i paid them now i have another company saying the same thing on the same bill now i dont know who to believe anymore.

I to just got a call from someone that said they were from my counties office and said i needed to call a number about a case that would be filed today. i called the number and it to was turner and ross. the guy said i owed money for a loan i got from loan.com, said i owed 5440.00 but could pay 990.82 today take care of it. didnt even waste much more time i told him i was in bankruptcy and if it was true it would have to go thru the courts first. i offered my attorneys name and number but he didnt take it. i have gotton so many of these calls the last 2 years it dont bother me anymore. they do always say the something in regards to cops coming and getting me but they never do. Payday loans are illegal in my state anyway. i might start calling and hanging up. HAHA,

This company is a complete scam!!!! I have a private investigator that informed me that they are located in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are saying that they are located in South Carolina because it is not necessary to have a business license to run a collections company in South Carolina. They have people working in their "attorney's office" who can barely speak proper English. Here's the skinnymate though. One of the employees is a felon. She spent about a year in prison for trying to rob someone and for attempted murder. I guess she is a great employee there being that she fit in with all the scam artists that work in their "South Carolina office."

lol just got another phone call today again. it's friday and they're trying to say "summons will be delivered in 24-48 hours" they said that last time they called. I told them if you're so real where's your website? They couldn't even answer the question they hung up. Just keep calling this number 1-855-219-1457 and press 0 then hang up when they answer. Just keep doing it over and over the more we do this maybe they will stop

I got a call to a Martin Rilley, who said he is summons processor.  The idiot should have known if there is a summons with your name on, you can call the clerk of courts to validate.  Bill collectors need to change the script they have been using the same old tactics for yrs.  Thank God for the internet.

Lol I called them like 60 times in a row and kept hanging up. Boy they flipped. Threatned me with "legal action" I said go ahead, then I can finally sue you for being a scam artist. I told them they're lazy and to get a job, etc. I suggest people do this. They'll stop harassing you.

I received a call this morning from the same guy.  They are using a new phone number as you said
will not give out their address or nothing.

I got a phone call also. Just a little bit ago, said I owe them 1,000. The number is 1-855-219-1451
i actually spoke with michael "wolf" though. These people are frauds. They first tried to say it was a domestic dispute or whatever. These people are screwed up in the head. File a FBI report on these people so they get arrested. I told the guy I filed a report and he got quiet real fast. Laughed at him told him he's a joke and hung up. They're uneducated also

I did let the police know what is going on. I have an open case as of now. Everyone needs to get a court case against these people and put them in jail.

I got a phone call from some on my job she said that I have sommon against me for a payday loan from Oct. 3,2011. She gave me this number 855-879-4106 so I called this number and talk to some man I forgot his name he said that I owe 1500.00 now he said the loan that I had got was only 500.00 back then I did not do this loan. Ok he put his boss on the phone his name is Micheal Wolf he said that I did the the loan through loan.com and he gave me a case number. This Micheal wolf said that he is a laywer. I am going to get the police in on the. I think that everyone should let the police lnow about this. They called my mothet-in-law and my job.

It's simple. Tell 'em to put it in writing. Mail it to you. Not e-mail or fax. They refuse, they're frauds or unethical collectors thinking they can put one over on you.
Pay them nothing. Tell them nothing. Admit nothing. It's their job to validate their claim. It's not your job to defend yourself from some POS trying to intimidate you into handing him your money for an unsubstantiated claim.
Learn of your rights under the FDCPA. These frauds hate nothing more than an educated consumer. Well, they hate people like myself who are here to help even more.
If they become belligerent or abusive, they've given themselves away. They're blowing smoke. Hang up or...tell them to go take a flying f*** at a rolling doughnut. The choice is yours. I only try to help.
Tell your employer about these scammers. This can happen to anyone, even your boss. Show them this thread.

i also received a call from this number saying i owed $5,000 for a payday loan of $500 back in 2011. The same  scenario as the previous reporters. Only they called my job talking about they had sent someone out and that  wasn't there.  Then went on to tell me I need to pay $452 up front and then we can discuss setting up installment payment on the balance.

if it's your number why do they now answer the phone-turner ross & assoc which they have all afternoon. they claim to be a law firm but will not give their location.  something is not right.

I agree- pay your bills and stop using my number as a reference...I don't work there anymore!!!

i would appreciate it if the person making this call has so much information then he/she should not be hesitant to put it in writing and also should not be bothering family or friends.

They called my mom brother and my wifes parents and said the same thing that these other 2 are reporting. They said that I took our a loan from Loan.com and that I have not paid it back ($500 back in Oct. 2011) and now I owe $5000.

I recived a phone call from a sondra williams from this number.  She said that there is a summons out for me and I need to contact this number.  my dock number is 17206 and it is from armstrong county.  I called armstrong county and there is no such dock number.  These people are scam artists do not take their calls and do not provide them with any of your personal information.

This # called my parents home stating that they represented a law firm "ross, turner associates" stating that I had a summons that would be served against me. I have no summons' pending against me, this is the 4th call like this that I have received.
