Frannie,   this is a scam.  Those people are violating the law every step of the way.  If she calls back,  tell her to Validate the loan in writing,  via usps and not by fax or Email and on their stationery letterhead.   Ask for her/his/its  full name,  company name,  company phone number (not the BS  855 one but the one in the phone book)  a full physical address as well as as mailing address that you may use for correspondence or future endeavors.   Tell them that you want full verifiable validation of the original debt and a copy of all pertinent information pertaining to the debt, including a copy of a signed contract,  as well as their right to claim and collect the alleged debt.   They will tell you that they don't have to supply that information or that they already have.  Don't accept that!  A legitimate collections company will gladly provide all of the information you ask for in order to expedite a fair and acceptable solution.  They have already violated the FDCPA  (Fair debt collections laws)   Refusal to provide this information  only proves that they are scammers....Period

If they call back,  tell them it's a scam and where they can put it.   This scam is really getting widespread and old. Most come from those little boiler rooms in asia,  but there is quite a few of the payday loan and collections scams coming from right here in the good ole Us of A.  Tell them to serve you or shut up.

the person 's name who keeps calling is sabrina jones.  said "bmg" is the company i owe money to for a payday loan i never got.  she has given three different numbers.   shes calling my sister threatining to take her to court because she says i used her name as as reference.  wont give me the name of "bmg".

Called and said they had a civil complaint to take me to court.
