Pretending to be ComEd- tellign people to buy a pre paid CC and pay them to "keep service on" It's a SCAM. ComEd does not ask customers to pay via PrePaid Credit Cards. SCAM

I received a call because I believe in the same virtues that Ron Paul does and have donated numerous times to his campaigns since he first ran for president.

A pain in the butt call.  From Ron Paul's organization - from which I have opted out.  A young lady took my number and stated my phone number would be removed.

Lesson learned for others - NEVER donate.

Ron Paul campaign - I've already committed $25 per month until the election. All I can spare to try and get the best republican candidate elected. Below top campaign contributors to Romney. It's a;; the same company's pulling the strings. Prepare for 4 more years of the same should Obama or Romney get elected.

I contributed last time around so it must be the Ron Paulenites.  Still the only hope for the U.S. and probably the world.  If we get Mobama or any other GOP candidate we are heading to WWIII.  Ron Paul is the only hope to avert global war and enslavement to the international banking cartel.  Word to your mom.

This does not seem typical. I have been called by the campaign before, but that is because they have my contact information from my previous volunteer efforts. In any case, for any previous calls I have received from Ron Paul's campaign or the Campaign for Liberty organization, there was always someone on the line immediately. I did not recognize this number at all.

Either this is a malfunction of their system, or something is just not quite right.

I've worked in sales and on two campaigns;  its a numbers game so if you get multiple calls it's because some staffer on the other end has a goal to make and they will not stop until then. Recall that if it is your guy running for office you'd probably hope that they are doing the same ;-)

The most ridiculous part of this spam calling is that when you answer, it takes a person on the other end 40 seconds to respond to your 'hello.'

Protip for those who are wasting millions of dollars to stump for Ron Paul: If you're investing the money and time to do this, at least make it functional! I'm not necessarily against hearing whatever message they have but even I just hung up when it took that long for someone to respond.

Great way to waste millions of dollars, Ron Paul...with robocalls where nobody is on the other end.

I was on my bus today, and they had called my cell phone, I couldn't hear them over the noise, needed to know what this number was, lol.

It is possible that another candidates supporters are doing this to discredit Ron Paul. They know that he has the majority of people behind him and if they can make him look bad in any way then they will.

If someone from the Ron Paul campaign is reading this please tell your polling people to leave a short message with apologies. And do not keep trying the same number for more than a few times.

That besides, your money doesn't go toward that - the phone bank is mostly, if not entirely, volunteer. I've done it before for the Ames Straw Poll (I live in Georgia).

If you answer your phone and tell them not to call you any more, they'll put you on the do-not-call list for their campaign and leave you alone like the rest of the candidates.

I have been called by the Ron Paul associated people in the past, and asked to have my name removed.
They are my most frequent out of the blue caller to my somewhat unpublicized number.

My assumption for now is Ron Paul.

calm down.  politics is about money.  if you don't have money, you don't get your message out.  this is how the game is played.  your money is being spent on some really sharp ads that they are showing in iowa, new hampshire, etc.
