Received a call from a Derrick Bishop (call came up as UNKNOWN)who claimed to be hired by UCG as a private locator he claimed to have some papers that he had to serve me with either at work or my home and he said he was hired to verify my address and place of employment which makes no sense to me if you are calling me at work well then you know where I work if this really was a legitimate company collecting on a debt they would not be hiring anyone they would've sent me some type of written notification which they are not doing all they do is call from unknown numbers and harass you at work. I'm really considering filing a complaint

well they have managed to contact everyone in my family with a landline including great Aunt and Uncle
UCG litigation but they have more than one number they are calling me from 800-352-9415 so be prepared I have contacted the BBB and the county clerk no pending charges either.

UCG pre-litigation has been calling me making all kinds of thearts. Tying to collect a debt for a pay day loans company that charged an illegal amount interest. Don't figure one company operating illegally has another try to collect,  illegally, by intimation and threats.

I have received two phone calls now from UCG Litigation for someone I used to know who used me as a reference.  However, the number shows as "Unavailable" on the Caller ID and the # they left to call back was 1-888-809-9433.  I told them after the first phone call I no longer have contact with the person that they are trying to locate, but they still called again!  This is really annoying because I did NOT give this person permission to use me as a reference and I pay my bills to avoid phone calls such as this!  The man I spoke to on the phone even insulted me!  HELP!  I don't know what I can do????

I to have received calls from this company.I spoke with a man by the name if josh britton.and the so called PI named kate Reynolds who calls no stop.We all should do something about this company

I was told by my supervisor that I recieved a call from 855-213-4018 (UCG). Was told I owe 2800.00 and I needed to pay before their private locator SHERRI CENA, could serve me papers to take me to court. I attempted to make arragnements to pay lil by lil but wouldn't accept what I offered! This company is full of s***!! The private locator have no number to call back and she is being very harrassing to my co-workers and family, who I might add some live out of state! They are nothing but bullies and liars! Thanks for the idea @HEATHER to call my County Court Office! No file on me!! SHERRI, along with UCG IS VIOLATING the law in every way! I say we do all get together and start a uprising agaisnt UCG and their private locators!! I have decided thou that I will be filing charges against SHERRI and reporting UCG to the BBB and my state attorney generals office!!

Received a call from 855-880-7674, its UCG they called my employer stating i owe money. I called them back and they stated I owe $750.00 and I have a warrant for my arrest. This is ridiculous, Ive never rec'd notice from this company in writting and they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collectin Practices Act.

I have been receiving multiple calls everyday from UCG. They say they have "papers" to serve on me, but cant find me, but then say well we know you work over there (they give a specific street) but well we don't want to serve you at work. I replied that I have lived at the same house for 12hrs, and that they could easily find me at my residence if they search my name. But they were like oh well before we serve the papers we want to give you a chance to take care of the situation. I am in default on a payday loan, and I am working with a lawyer and actively filing bankruptcy. I provided them with my lawyers information, but they kept saying this issue was going to unfold faster than my bankruptcy, and that I need to settle the balance. I advised the balance was being included in the bankruptcy and they needed to speak with my lawyer. I then had my lawyer call them and fax them a letter stating they were to cease any/all contact with me, that the monetary debt was being included in the bankruptcy. Well this morning, since they were on notice to not call me, they called my sister-threatening her that they knew where she lived, and demanded they tell her where I live-Now really if you had papers to file on me, and you were smart enough/computer smart to find my sister why in the heck could you not find my home address??? And why is the company scared to serve me at work?? Oh the reason, because they are trying to scare me and they think that saying that they are coming to my house or my work will scare me into paying-UM NO. I am not stupid. Today after they called me sister I called them back, and advised them not to contact any of my family members, and Josh a supervisor advised me "there are papers" and he is coming to find you----little did he know that I know how to call the County Clerk of Court where all papers have to be ran through before being served, and um wow no papers are there for me.....This company is full of liars, who try to scare and threaten.  I think a group of us should get together and file a suit against them-they are violating the law using these tactics.

"Lisa Winters" called my job to say that I have an outstanding debt that she has to deliver some paperwork to me.  I said ok.  Where are you, come and bring them now.  Oh I'm about 10-15 min away and I'm trying to allow you a chance to clear this up before I give them to you.  No, I said give them to me now so I know what you are talking about.  Well she went on and on--- long story short she lied and said she was 10-15 min away from me at starbucks.  I asked her which one, she said the one on Haskell I said oh Haskell St? I said what city, she said Camden.  What? Camden NJ? Yes, well sweetie it's gonna take you longer than 15 min to get to where I am from Camden NJ to CT  she said, well no, it depends on the traffic!!! I said ok, yeah this is a joke and hung up!  They said I owe $1400.00 (of which they paid "Lisa" $200 to "find" me) I told the lady well that wasn't money well spent, because it's real easy to find me, I'm not hiding!

They are trying to run sum crazy a** scam

They have called my place of work so recieved a warning about calls at work. called my grandson and daughter and mom. I don't know who they are however they said they are taking me to court I can't go to work under these conditions make them stop they also called our HR dept at work

This number belongs to UCG Pre litigation.  It's either a collections company or a law firm.  They use a technic called step tracing...  it links all possible relatives and relations and they call everybody on the list to track a person down.
