Received a call from this number and this female left a very garbled message as well. I will not be calling back.

I also received a call from Tyisha ext 314. (855-896-8822). She said to call her back before they head out next week.  Said she was from USTRP USF.....her voice became mumbled so I didn't get all of it.  I won't be calling back!

"Hi this is Crystal calling over here at two two one one one Lake Club Drive. I do have a couple of questions ask before we do head out there next week if you can please give me a call back at 8558968822 at extension two four two. I have a couple of questions asked before we do head out the next week. Again this is Crystal with Jam Pro. Thank you and have a great day."

No idea who they are or what they want but I won't be calling them back.

Got a call from D'asha.  She identified herself as being from the State and Local Tax Group, which caught my attention because were were just notified that we were getting sales tax audit from our state last week.  However, she started talking about AP incentives and I realized she was not from the government.  She was very pushy about coming out for a meeting and tried to make it sound like they come out every year.  She kept naming names at the company and talking about their relationship with the company, but the whole thing seemed sketchy.  For example, she kept naming this woman at our company and calling her the accounting manager, though she's an AP clerk with no management responsibility.  I asked her to have her company take us off their solicitation list, and she said she wasn't soliciting and then said she was going to call my boss and talk to him because he understood their relationship.  After talking to people at my company I found out we have no business relationship with this company.  

I received a call today from Joselyn of Janpro asking to speak with the owner or person in charge of the company. They left a call back number 855-896-8822 ext. 247. She seem suspicious because when I asked her what it was regarding she did not wanted to leave any information.

I too received a message from a woman from JohnPro - very garbled on the name - phone number was 855-896-8822 - xt 234 - I'm the Custodian of our bldg. and someone transferred her to me telling me she needed more information before we met next week.  This is not going to happen - clearly a marketing trick to get more business.  Good try but missed this boat.  Thank you to all that have logged in this information as I found it most helpful to decipher the call. - co

Yep, telemarketer trying for janitorial services

The State and Local Tax Group, while legit, is struggling to be a respectable boutique tax consulting firm. Their initial calls to me resulting from their canvas of in-state manufacturers. They called me at the home office--nowhere near our manufacturing sites or counties that have them--and claim that they know all about sales and use tax laws in X county--where our plant is located. Problem is, in this state, all sales and use tax laws, administration, etc., are handled at the state level and always have been.

There's just no room on my rolodex for this level of incompetence and such low-rent persistence.

Got the call today.  Brianna said she was from Jan-Pro and wanted to talk to the person who makes the decisions about our janitorial services.  She left this number to call back but the incoming call was logged as 210-370-3826 from San Antonia TX.  Obviously a telemarketing center who represents several different clients by setting up appts for their sales reps.

Call comes in as Private Caller. I dont answer calls from "private callers" and let them go to voicemail. The girl states her name as Lizette from Ampro and that she has a question to ask before they arrive next week and leaves the number 855.896.8822 x 334 to call back.  The name of the company when she says it sounds muffled so you cant really make out what the company name really is.

Obviously a scam of some kind. I put the number on my block calls list.

Received a voicemail a work from someone calling themselves James.  The ID said unknown caller.  He said that he was calling from what sounded like Jampro and just had a quick question before stopping by next week, and that I should give him a call back at this number x232.  I wasn't familiar with the company name or anyone stopping by, so I assumed it was a scam of some sort.  Checked online and sure enough I was right.

Taisha did the same to us-with xt 315. went here right away- no need to call back I see.

Received phone call to our CEO office this morning. Caller "Tiesha" asked if we had a CFO and wanted to be transferred to speak with him--immediate information on tax recover for accounts payable department. After telling her that she would need to speak with our A/P manager she called her by name and stated that the manager instructed her to call the CFO direct. This is UNTRUE! I asked for a call back number for our CFO (to have time to check the validity of her call) and was given the 855-896-8822, ext. 307. I returned the call and found (1) pre-recorded message to either enter the extension or dial by first name; (2) dialing the extension resulted in a second pre-recorded message informing me that no one was available to take my call and to leave a name, number and message for "someone" to call back; (3) dialing by first name--the result was no one listed by that first name--or any other first name I entered.

I checked here. Read all of your replies.  I will not be returning this call.

Everytime you hear something about the word taxes you get your ears up.   Received a call this morning from this number that was transferred in from another person in my office.  A message was left but of course when dialing the extension got a voice mail of someone entirely different.   In the background you could hear the noises of a call center sweatshop.   Will not be calling them back and hope they do not call me back.

Got a call from Mary, said it they wanted to set up an appt. for someone to come out and discuss "sharing incentives and credits regarding the new tax laws implemented"....NO THANKS!

It's a legit company.  We had them out for a presentation a year or so ago but now they keep calling.  I also thought it was my local tax agency this time or I wouldn't have called them back.  If you really think you might be overpaying on your sales tax take their call otherwise just keep ignoring them.

They ID themselves as from the "State and Local Tax Group" so I see it as a totally bogus call and won't be returning their message.  They just try to scare companies into calling them back.  Bah!
