Nope.  Another shill.  "Investigator Judy" should be charged with impersonating law enforcement - which is a felony.  You also never pay any caller unless they mail proof that you owe the debt/proof they can collect.  MAIL - NOT email or fax or phone.  Thanks for playing.

Debt is civil, not criminal, so there are NO charges.  Law enforcement is also NOT in the business of debt collection, so your caller was, in fact, a scammer or junk debt buyer - regardless, he broke the law by impersonating an officer of the law.  Sorry, but your comment reads as "shill post".

I called American express to try to see if this investigator Judy was telling the truth about me still having a debt of nine hundred dollars and they said I did so I settled the case out with McKenzie firm for 800. Glad to Amy because I don't want to go to court. But good luck

I received the same phone call but I looked online and saw that a lot of these collection companies are using scare tactics to make you give them information. Be careful! Don't give any information they don't have right to harass you.

I receive a call from a detective marshall.. he told me that I  court handle the case of my unpaid payday loan for  702 dollars or appear in Harris county court for 4007.02 . Well I thought it was a scam but later that night I got a summons to appear in court on these same charges... omg I scared now because I have to get an attorney.  Please someone help me... I don't have enough money :( im only 22.
