getting repeated calls., after 9pm at night and also at 8:30 am in mornings. weekends included. I think Comcast has sold our number to telemarketers as we did not get this amount of annoying calls before we "bundled" and left Verizon.

Yes. I am reporting this to the Do Not Call Registry. If you are registered, you should report this and any automated call to the registry.

I managed to catch the call this AM and I answered it. After about 20 seconds of silence a recording comes on and it is a sales call for an Emergency Alert System like Life Alert.
It pays to listen to the msg as there is an option to have your number removed.
