Several calls... "Myra" this time. I am on the "no call list". hahahaha

I am getting calls too, from "Discount Energy.com". Several of them. I am on the "no call" list, woo-hoo. A lot of good (*sigh*). I told "Myra" (the voice), that I wanted to look up the company on line, BEFORE I signed up. Typed in the phone number... Oh boy. Thank you all for posting.

most likely telemarketing, but what a nuisance!  Calls everyday, several times a day.  2 rings... no one there, ever.

We get calls from this number also at least 2 or 3 times a day on a regular basis now for the past 3 weeks maybe longer...very annoying and concerning!!!. Wonder what action can one take to get to the bottom of this and getting these calls to stop...

I went on to my Comcast site (my provider) and found that I could screen individual calls. I put in the 5 nuisance numbers and hope they will be blocked.  Give it a try

I get calls from 158-9945, 156-2399, 189-5635, 147-8799, etc  several times per day.  I dont answer.  Sometimes i pickup and hangup to make the phone stop ringing because the baby is asleep.  I am also on the do-not-call-list.  The name that appears on caller id has changed several times.. "Unavailable", "Name unavailable", "Unknown", "8561562399"

Same as us, no one on the line, and no messages.

So tried of this phone number:  856-158-9945, I am beginning to realize that I have more phone calls from telemarketers than friends, time to consider shutting it down.  What I have been doing is turn down the volume, set it on ring only twice and the machine will cut in.  We warn our friends to text us, or send emails, because of these bad phone calls, with no one on the line.

They keep calling me. No voice message. When I call back a recording says my call can't be completed as dialed.

Constant calls with the second set of digits starting with a 1. Have actually answered to find some one asking for the person who pays the electric bills at this location. I hang up. Most I don't answer. Where is the Do Not Call List when you need them. I am listed!

Calls 3 or more times a day.  No one on other end.  Why can't I block it?

I keep getting these phone calls at least 4 -6 times a day, and several others.  I check the PC for these strange number 856-158-9945.  Have no idea who they are, I won't pick up the phone unless we know the number, and the person calling.  I hope they will stop calling, but if they don't I will turn down the volume and they can talk to the answer machine, which we know they won't.

I keep getting these phone calls 3 or 4 times a day. Now they have started calling my workplace. Isn't there anything we can do?

I'm getting numerous calls every day from 856-158-9945. Also getting calls from 856-149-8447 (related?). I don't pick up, and they don't leave a message. Infuriating!

Also getting these calls every day. Did anyone here apply to any jobs recently? I accidentally applied to a scam job site, this may be from that.

If these phone calls don't stop, I will pay someone to investigate. I get calls 3 to 4 times a day. ONE ring, it hangs up, then a callback right away. It rings until the machine picks up, then nothing. At the point I'm going to have my house phone shut off!!!!

I get these calls also, 856-149-8447 and 856-158-9945. My area code is 856, and the next three digits did not look familiar. I haven't answered, and they hang up before my machine picks up. Next time I will answer and complain about this annoyance.

A ring and hang-up. But I would bet anything that this is the "ACE" electric scam telemarketer. The phone number includes the invalid exchange typical of all their spoofed caller IDs. Blocked.

I had a transcript and audio recording to file with my complaint. Not sure if that will be any help since I'm not sure how you find out who the hell is doing this. But they have called my home once or twice a day for the past few weeks.
