Recorded voice looking for someone with a different name than mine but similar, so company obviously grasping at straws trying to find him.  Will ignore all calls from that number going forward.

I started getting the "important message for...." calls and blocked them on my iphone.  Then the smart b*****ds starting leaving messages only, by going straight into my voicemail.  I've been ignoring this for about 7months now and I think I'm going to have to disable my voicemail for a short time period which isn't a good option but hopefully it works. Eventually I'll find a way. I don't even know what the point to these calls are.  It can't be to drum up business cause you can't get in touch with them.  

Do not sit here and bi***, call your phone company fraud department, call the police fraud squad.Do not leave it all up to me. This is a b***s*** company and i am hunting them. The gloves are off. The more people that tell their stories is the more evidence i have to put these mutants and their robocaller it it's place.I have filed a law suit and seeking $1000.00 per call. So far about 190 calls to me alone.I will check back on this thread in a few days for anyone interested.First thing is call your phone company and then call them again. and again( Untill they are sick of you) and document everything. Call the fraud squad and document everything.WE DEMAND THESE MUTANTS STOPPED. This last one makes sense, I owe the city of Toronto for alleged bicycling infractions and have been getting these calls lately as well

I called them back and it turned out to be a collection for a driving infraction from 4 years prior that slipped through the system.   The city of Toronto then sent it to this company for collection.

Paid my ticket through the city of Toronto website and all is good now.

Debt collections.
Calling to try and collect money from my brother who died 4 years ago, and has not lived here in over 7 years.

They call everyday and leave a message. I am a senior(84 years old) don't understand what they are talking about. I called them many times but no actual person picked up the phone. I have no patience for this. Please stop calling me. Thanks

THey call me several time

A strange call waked me up from sleep this morning. It was from 18005807977. It was an automatic machine voice. It was not clear to hear. I only heard 'from yonge st, newmarket'. I will never take this type of call again. Hope this company can stop to disturb people.

I called it and it says it's Allied International Credit.... If they can't leave me a detailed message as I instruct in my outgoing message then it can't be THAT iomportant. I don't answer 800#'s or strance international calls on my cell phone...

I too get a call from this number daily. It's on my magicjack which I never have plugged in anymore so I never hear it, but occassionally there is an automated voice mail referring to an important "personal business matter." They ask for someone with my same first name, but a different last name. Maybe they just figured they would call every person with that first name lol. I just delete the messages as they come in my email without reading them. I changed my magic jack number several times, but each new number seems to be recycled and I get collectors calling that are looking for the number's previous owner. That's what I get for using magic jack.  

Just got a ?very important? phone call for my husband....from Allied International Credit.  800-580-7977

First it sounded like a machine dialed it and said ....?very important call...very important call....repeated until a live female came on the line.
I was going to hang up, but thought I?d wait.
woman came on and again said ....very important call for ...Mr.....
I asked who it was and she said Allied International.  She said the call was recorded.
I said my husband wasn't home and she said she would call back in a FEW DAYS.

I was stunned...saying ...if its so important, why are you waiting for a few days?  Her lame answer was that she works till 4:30 and may not be able to call back.  I repeated...if it was so important why are you calling back in a few days...why not tomorrow? I asked a couple more times because it didn't sound right.
anyway, I told her to call back tonight.

Googled the #, e-mailed my husband and he sent me this link.  We have NO DEBTS!!
Waste of time and harassment.  I hope they will be charged.

this collection agency has been calling over 3 yrs for someone who does not live here. I usually ignore the number but picked it up a couple of times now and have yelled. I finally left  amessage for one vm they left here. I basically yelled and told them they better update there file , and i told them i spoke to my lawyer and if they keep calling i will start  harrasment lawsuit against them. so we will see if that works lol

This phone number just called my cell. Please do not let them call me again!!

I've been receiving calls from this number on an almost daily basis. Called this morning (Saturday) at 8:00 a.m. They have even called at 8:00 pm at night. There is never a message left, and I refuse to answer any 1-800 calls without a name display as well. I'm getting quite annoyed with them, counted 6 calls in the past week alone! I'm going to report this number/company to the CRTC in the hopes an investigation will be launched. If this company is a collection agency, I do not know why they are harassing me -- I have stellar credit rating and all my debts have been paid!

What Bell shoud have told you is your call block service will not work because this is a collection agency calling and those calls will not be blocked no matter what service you use. If this is something that really bothers you I would suggest you file a complaint with the CRTC, You can also file a complaint with the government agency that regulates Collection Agencys as some of the complaints I have read seem to show that this agency is behaving in such a way as to prevent you from having a easy way to stop the calls, This is really not good for them as if their are enough complaints they will lose their surety bond and their license. Then everyones problem is solved

I had just gotten this new phoneline/phone number like 3 weeks ago, when I began
getting calls 3 times a day, during the week (once on Sat. morning too)  from this number.  800-580-7977.
Once this guy named Sal Beninado left his name on my voicemail, stating he was looking for someone (Mohamid)  who didn't live at my new number.
I have since called the number back 3 times, and left a message for this Sal guy, asking him not to call again. My request, however, has fallen on deaf ears.
May I suggest that anyone who is being harrassed by this number...call them back and leave a message for Sal Beninado.
The voice on their voicemail sounds asian.

i just received a call from this no.looking for my son who is severely disable,cant talk and write,who the hell are this people that they know my son name!!

I'm also located in Toronto.  This number calls every Saturday morning at 8:00 am, with a recorded message for someone I've never heard of.  They're Allied International Credit.  Tried calling them numerous times, but I'm endlessly left on hold for the "next available agent".  Call block doesn't work for this number, even though it's on this list of block numbers, they still get through.  The only explanation Bell Canada could give was that call block doesn't work for every 800 number.  I'm guessing Bell uses their services, as other 800 numbers are blocked without a problem.

I am located in Toronto, Canada with a 416 area code.
Have recently been bombarded with calls from this number (I never pick up).
Sometimes they leave a blank voicemail and a couple of times leave a ref. number and ask for a call back (which I have not done)
