Just got a call from 856-282-0039, it said Local Area Call on the caller ID. They asked for me, I said I wasn't here could I please take a message? She chuckled; then they asked for the man or woman of the house, said that they weren't available & no message, they would just try back later. These people will get nowhere with me I have heard it all before. So much for the DO NOT CALL list I'm on.

Caller ID says "LOCAL AREA CALL". No message. For several months before this "LOCAL AREA CALL" was phone number 617-830-6570. Neither are my area code. I'm sure it's a senior citizen scam. I'm not a senior but they don't know that.

call *60 and follow the directions. you can either reject the last call or enter a number. you get 30 entries, then you have to delete some to make room for more. but it works.

I got a call from this number and they asked for Francisco and when I said they have the wrong number they proceeded to ask  me to if could help them with a donation for breast cancer survivors and when I said that I  was not able they hung up. I kind of figured it was a scam because organizations usually do not ask for money over the phone.I hope they get caught to do use a organization like that one to scam people in giving them money.

Called and no one was on the phone. I *67'd (blocked my number from being seen on Caller ID) and called the number back. It answered as Fundraising Information Center when you press one for opions it tells you to leave your number and a rep will return your call. If you are on the National Do Not Call List, providing your number will give them legal permission to call your phone. DON'T DO IT.
