Started getting calls from 856-295-5971 and I always google numbers before I call any number back I do not know. I am guessing they stopped for a while and started back up again? I answered it once and there was no one there. I block any call like that. No clue who but if they are on this list? I won't be calling them back.
For those with cell phones? Check either  Apple store or Google Play store.. there are really good call blockers that are free. Get one! They cut back on the calls like crazy. I was getting calls from all kinds of private or unknown.. not any longer. Those are calls from a computer just checking to see if a phone number is still working. Then its sold..

Random phone calls with no voicemails.  Very annoying.  If it is urgent or something real, I would appreciate contact information for recalls!

Unfortunately, I am on the do not call list. They still call, so I'm guessing they are not at all legit. And they are pretty darn annoying!

WCA subscriber services I signed up for June 24th 2009 and every time I answer a call from them I am entered into their daily drawing... Or sign up for their free prescription savings card.  What a waste of my time!

Don't give your number to emails that tell you that you WON something don't do this OR These Dumb A** people will call you up damn scampers.

I received a call from 856-295-5543 this morning on my cell my husband answered they asked for me he handed me the phone and I could NOT hear a thing this person was saying I kept saying hello I can't hear you..and then all of a sudden heard thank you and they hung up.  I have NO idea what the lady said and now after reading these posts I am VERY concerned with what the hell the woman said to me...called the number back and got voicemail...not leaving NO numbers with them now..However I am going to contact David Whitby with the REAL Alliance Health as I am REALLY REALLY worried NOW....Places like this should be OUTLAWED!!!

I've gotten calls from the same numbers.  Said that I signed up online to possibly receive free and/or reduced rate diabetic supplies online.  My husband is diabetic so I guess that makes sense.  They want his first and last name and want to speak to him only.  

I am not giving out any information.

How do you get your number on the federal do not call list? I've had the same trouble with them as well.

There is a scam circulating on Facebook that offers a free MacBook Air. It often comes from one of your trusted Facebook friends.  DO NOT RESPOND !!!  I did with my home address, phone and e-mail address, and now am bombarded with scam e-mails and phone calls from 516-453-5562, 646-558-5560, 561-692-4228, 856-295-5543 and many other unfamiliar area codes and e-mail addresses.

Read the fine print, however, and you'll discover the MacBook Air 'giveaway' scam requires you to qualify in two ways each for each of three separate tier programs. The net result is that you pay more for required incentive merchandise than the MacBook Air is even worth. Then, assuming you've spent that much and actually qualified, you have to jump through a bunch of other hoops in order to claim "the prize". Any mistake or omission along the way, and your out all the cash with no Macbook Air to show for it.

I have received 2 calls in 2 days, from 856-295-5543 and 516-453-5562 in the last 2 days.  There is never anyone there and no message.  I'm also on a do not call list!

It says Alliance Insurance when you call back.  Most likely a phony call.

I keep getting calls from this number, but this time she said her name is Ashley.

Whenever you go online for anything...these companies are selling our information to other companies..I'm afraid to do any online activity for fear of my personal information being sold.
I'm on the do not call list also.

The caller insisted that I had requested information over the internet, which I had not.

Not only is it actionable, but they are liable for $1000 for every time they call outside of that time period, call too frequently (i.e. 3 times in an hour), call when there is no actual debt due etc.  It's part of the Fair Debt collector's act.

They have called me a couple times today. This nonsense is actually pretty upsetting.  I am ready to throw out my phone and just start using ham radio.
