This number is attached to a online Canadian Pharmacy ? they have called me from a rotation of up to 20 different phone numbers, either by using a call machine (when I answer there is no response) or an operator asking if I wanted to place an order.  I have also had email viruses sent as well. 1-401-365-6267, 1-777-889-1073, 1-856-295-9639, 1-612-808-9579, 1-406-623-3650, 1-805-309-9551, 1-203-347-3165, 1-805-309-5685, 1-914-339-9547, 1-856-295-5662, 1-805-309-9615, 1-714-551-9770, 1-714-551-9714, 1-714-551-9678, 1-406-931-3909, 1-918-442-0855, 1-312-878-9641

Then again and again so many call to my cell and my home numbers althgought there are listed in the "do not call list" its useless, thery are faceless and annoying we should have the upper hand in controling our personal and home privacy however, someone outhere sells our information for a buck in the hope that we purchase their stuff or whatever they advertise.

Received a hang up call from 856-295-9639 on Friday - I was off work Friday so I picked up the so called message this morning.  I keep a log of all calls that I receive and I receive call from WCA (different types services) averaging 5 or 6 times a month.  I believe it is computer generated since my VM message clearly indicates this is a business and I still get these calls on a continual basis.
I appreciate your sites as it gives me an idea of who is calling, there is nothing more frustrating as to not know who the caller is, and I don't have time to go into a time consuming search.

They are based in Camden, NJ, across the river from Philadelphia.

I think they are a collection agency, but not sure.  I am getting from calls them at my office and also cell phone.  But have no idea who they are.

This is ridiculous.  I get calls from 20 different numbers tons of times per week.  I have millions of dollars from Wayne Enterprises, yet I still can't manage to avoid these calls.  Next thing I know they'll start calling me on my OnStar in my Batmobile.  I mean.. no they won't..  I'm not Batman..

Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. More than 157 million phone numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Under the Act, the Federal Trade Commission will continue to remove telephone numbers that have been disconnected and reassigned to other customers. Consumers can delete their telephone numbers from the registry at any time by calling 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236) ? the call must be made from the telephone number they wish to delete.

The Do-Not-Call Fee Extension Act of 2007 also was enacted, setting the annual fees telemarketers will pay to access the registry in fiscal year 2009 at $54 for each area code of data accessed or $14,850 for access to every area code in the registry, whichever is less. Telemarketers may access the first 5 area codes of data at no charge, and certain exempt organizations will continue to access all data at no charge. For each fiscal year beginning after fiscal year 2009, the fees will be increased at the rate of change of the consumer price index, unless the change is less than 1 percent, in which case the fees will not be adjusted.

Robotic calling should be made illegal, and MUST be enforced.   Have only had this number for less than a week.

I'm tired of this. These numbers call me ALL the time, and I've NEVER put my number in anywhere online for them to get a hold of it. I've considered changing my phone number, but all of the people that DO need it, have this one, and I don't want to change it for fear of them not being able to contact me.

Is there some law on harassment with things like this?

Be carefull. These area codes are pretty fishy. Sometime they call so u can pick up and when u pick up, you get a high charge on your phone bill. I just got called a half an hour ago. But didnt pick up.

Thanks guys - this is the 3rd number I've gotten called from by these lower than earthworm people.  I understand people need jobs, but working for these idjits is not worth it.  As with the rest of you, no message.  Robotic calling programs pay no attention to any do not call list -- programmed to start with one number and just keep calling from there, going down a sequential numeric setup - such as 111-111-1111, then 111-111-1112, etc.

What ever happened to the do not call list?  We get many junk calls lately, especially from people trying to sell us a new electricity service.  And many on our cell phone, too.
