Calls twice per day. Does not leave messages. Have now blocked this number

call from florida state from this number, voice of woman, ask for my dayther , that no live here

Caller ID came up as "Res Max". I didn't answer the phone and whomever it was did not leave a message.

Time of call was 7:44pm CST

I got a phone call from 856-470-2169 but didn't answer it as I was in the other room.  I signed up for some " freebies" that I thought was legit because it was posted on Facebook by friends I thought were reliable friends.  All it was was surveys you put name, phone number and sometimes address.  It NEVER gets to the free things...just more surveys.   I finally quit and posted on FB that it was a scam.  After that, I got call after call from places saying that I requested information about this and that and they need more information.  I finally started answering and when a real person came on the line I pressed a phone button and held it down.  That makes a loud noise in their ears.  The calls are less now, but still get calls a couple or more times a day.  I just don't answer it anymore unless it's a known number.  Various numbers are being called from but one number calls every single day.  These are harassing calls.  

Maximum research called and asked to talk to someone who was most knowledgeable about our xray machines. We are a general contractor...we do not have xray machines. I started laughing and it must have hurt her feelings because she got belligerant.

Go to this website:  www.maximumresearch.com.  Under the FAQ tab, click "Recieved a call?  Under the Do not Call website information there is a box to opt out of further calls.  Could be a scam to get more numbers, but it also could be a legit way to stop the calls.

First call at 9:15PM when phone ringer turned off. No Message.

these idiots called 4 times yesterday. Left no messages. Today have called 3 times and the last time I did pick it up - said "stupid people - QUIT calling!".
So far, they haven't called back.

After reading the comments and having the same problems with them, next time they call me I will take the survey and give them all the worst answers possible.

I get multiple calls from them, which I always ignore.  Most recent voice mail says they are "Max Research" doing surveys on health care and claim to pay $250 for participation.  I deleted the voice mail and ignore their calls.

I have received 2 calls this week with the Max Res caller ID.  Both times the caller was female & for the most part not understandable. Both times she appeared to be ready to deliver a spiel & was told that if the agency she represented had something to say, they should choose someone who speaks English.

That ended the conversation.

They call me.  I say "who dis?", they say "who is this?"  I say "you called me, who dis", they hang up.

I hate them and want them to die today or tomorrow.

Got a call from this idiot, and do want the calls to stop. But..................then idiots are too smart so maybe they can't read or understand English.  Do Not Call Me.

They have been calling 6 to 10 times a day, we dont answer our home phone any more we just use it for a fax line.  There isnt even a way to leave a message, why dont they give up!

They called a few times today. I let it go to voice-mail and will continue letting it go. I believe that after getting no result after a number of tries that they will go away. I just gave my phone number to Harbor Freight, albeit  reluctantly. I hope this is not a company that they have anything to do with.   I can program my VOIP OOMA phone system to automatically send them to voice mail if need be. I feel bad for the people in New Jersey that may think that this is a local call from a friend with a new cell phone.

We've been getting calls from these people for over a month.  Each time they call, they say nothing and then hang up!  This is getting very old and something needs to be done to stop these annoying, prank calls!

I just got another call from this company. . .He said, "Hello, this is David" then the phone went dead. . .the caller ID shows just a bunch of numbers instead of a name. . .this is about the 10th time they have called me, and never have said anything. . .I want it to stop!!!

I just now got a call from this #. I never answer until I Google the phone #. So I didn't answer it, but I never signed up or registered for any Facebook App and I still got the call.  I don't sign up for any apps anyway, since I don't have a phone with a data plan.

Doesn't matter if they found a loop hole with the Do Not Call National Registry. They are still subject to Nuisance Law, if they are hindering your enjoyment of your own personal property (ie: private cell phone), that is illegal.

You can also get the app Mr. Number which will block calls by whichever option you choose of the call going straight to voicemail or have the app hang up on them automatically. It's a free app and a decent alternative since cell companies now charge you to block numbers. The app also has a constantly updating databank of phone numbers that get reported as being spam and will automatically hang up on a number if it's listed as a high risk spam call.

No company should be calling after 6pm anyways.

This loser company keeps calling our company. We have gotten accustomed to not picking up the phone when we don't recognize a "friendly" caller-id. No clients have gotten annoyed at us for NOT picking up their call. With so many people using email and text, our line rings fewer and fewer times these days.  :-)

Called and was very faint; couldn't hear her.  Then she hung up; wonder how they make money like this...

I received three calls from this number. I didn't answer any of them, but glad I checked that it's a marking firm from New Jersey. They will get ignored.

Cell phones can do so many things nowdays. Why can`t we block numbers on them???

i keep getting calls from. 856-470-2169, and when i answer, no one is there! have you ever noticed when you fill out anything online for info or contests, you start getting calls from no one on the other end, crazy telemarketers, colleges, etc, even though you did not chose them!.... someone seems to be selling everybodies info!.....its a shame we cant just enjoy being online without all the BS!

Holy crap this number calls all the time. Numberous times a night too- and late, last night just before 10. SO far they've called once so far tonight.
