Got a call today on my cell saying I had expressed an interest in starting my own business and that they had information for me to help me do just that.  It took me three tries to interrupt the man so he'd listen to me say, "No, no, no, I didn't express any interest in starting my own business, not ever!"  I explained that I had expressly stated I didn't want third party calls and wanted my information removed from their system.  He said they were Matrix Media.  Probably a telemarketing company who has multiple clients and Matrix is only one of them.  He sounded apologetic and said he'd remove my info.  If they're reading client scripts, they won't be able to remove me, but will send my commentary to the client to tell them to remove me.

Additional information...people who own the phone number are Kmc Telecom V, Inc.-nj. KMC, it seems, has a standard M.O. throughout the country, if I'm reading online info correctly. They apply for permission to offer local and interstate phone service with Public Service Commissions in each state. After fulfilling requirements with each state, they operate for 2 to 3 years and then request cancellation of authorizations saying that they no longer have reportable income or customers. I have found this so far for four separate states, but with as many pages as I found with info on this company, I'll bet it's far more. Their homebase is in Georgia. My guess is they run these scams and operate as a phone company so they can provide telephone service specifically for these scam businesses and then move on before being detected as having a connection.

Ever since I called their number and got the option to remove my number from their system, the calls are all coming in as "private" or "unavailable".  Exactly the same sales pitch (you expressed an interest in starting your own business - bull!), but done with illegally blocked names and numbers.  The only thing they removed was their identity.  They need to be reported to the FCC before they skip town like they have in other states!!!

Calls twice daily and since it registers "BLOCKED" we do not pick up the phone for them.  They do not leave a message at this time.

I've got 3 calls in the last two weeks from Matrix Media saying that I had expressed an interest in "starting my own business."  When I ask them to put me on their 'do not call list', they just hang up.

I received 3 phone calls from this number today. The first 2 times thte line went dead when i answered the phone. The 3rd call, someone spoke with an Asian accent and made abscene comments. He never gave his name and the number comes up private. I put a report in with Verizon.

Sage on behalf of sprint telling me ive won a free cell phone- i said i wasnt interested and hung up.

this number has been calling two times a day without leaving a message. i thought it was a local number because of the area code, but after reading this I know it is not.  It comes up O2C on the caller ID everytime.

This call came in as a Private Number today.
I did not know the number.
So I did not answer the phone.

call came in today at six p.m. caller id said number above with "blocked" as name..answered. Heavy Indian accent claimed he was calling from
Sprint to offer me a cell phone . told him what he can kiss, that sprint has been told many times not to solicit me, and hung up.  called number back. doesn't exist. sprint is claiming nobody from their company would have called. this is a scam....

They called again!  This time I picked up.  A male voice on the other end I could not understand, heavy accent.  He said he was calling from the United States Government.  Then he went into some five minute long explanation of something that I didn't understand at all.  When I asked him to please repeat, he got very angry!  He said you will get $500 a month for the next 6 months as a tax refund.  I laughed and told him I did not believe him.  That is when he got super pissed!  He was so mad, started spitting his words out.  He said fine whatever.  The funniest thing is that he said God Bless.  Obviously did not mean that!  I hope God blesses him though... He was a confused man!

This call was UNWANTED

They have called 3x. I was unable to answer. When I call back the machine says that the phone number is unavailable.
