They are a NASTY bunch.

they just keep calling me....i do not pick up the phone

i am sick of this number callingme and when they do they are so rude when i ask them not to call back
what can i do about it

They call me everyday and do not leave a message at least twice a day. I called back and I was told to verify my social security number and telephone# I stated NO the lady got real angry and stated that they will keep calling me back

Received second call within 2 1/2 hours.  Answered by saying they were not supposed to call again and I would report them.  No response.
I called and talked with man who did not identify himself or company but insisted I would have to give him my number.  I told him what I thought and hung up.  FTC compaint filed.

Called me at 8 am Saturday and didn't leave message.  I returned call and they were looking for a former in-law who has no contact with me and has never had this phone number.  Ms. Crabtree agreed to remopve my number. I'll see about that.

Hey...... these people calling from INDIA, CHINA and other countries. where hundred of call centers are running for getting money by fraud from USA and UK citizens... ITS ALL SCAM...

How it runs..........(for debt collection)

It starts when people tries to get loan online, they fill all their personal detail on that sites and problem starts from this point. all your information is sold to collection agencies (call centers) at $4 to $6 / Person, whether you got that loan or not.

SO what actually they (Call Centers) do...

1. They have all of your information includes: your name, social security number, address, employment detail, 2 references and a detail of amount.( which you didn't get)

2. For dialing purpose call center gets USA or UK numbers. they calls through various softwares (like: ICALL). And have various phone numbers.

3.They hire college students or some people and prepare them to communicate with you. (training classes for getting a bit of American accent) and gives them fake names (American).

4. They makes a write up for leaving message to threaten you. like:-

"This message is intended for Mr. john (your name).  john the very second you receive this msg i need you or your retained attorney to call me back. the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. my name is ..........., and i am calling from financial accountability association, my call back no. is 123456789, i am repeating this for you john 123456789, john don't disregard this msg and call me on my number back. if i don't get any call from you or from your attorney........ wish you good luck, bye"

5. If you pick up phones ...they will threaten you by saying... that federal govt or federal legislation  is going to pressing lawsuit against you and your social security number. and try to make you remember that you took a pay day loan and never paid it back... so it is very easy to threaten you by saying that "such company falling lawsuit against you for your unpaid loan".
( you don't know for which loan he/she talking about and try to remember your last 2- 3 loans (which you actually got and never paid)).  At this time you stuck in the situation.

(according to my perception you never know "how many loan you took in last 1 or 2 year"- sorry-- joking)

6. They will tell that you are charged against these allegations:-  1. Theft by deception 2. collateral cheque fraud

7. They will tell u that they have sent various mails to inform you but u never replied and that was the only way to communicate you.

8.They will ask u to write a Apologizing letter that “your intention was not bad and you never wanted to run away with that money & you want to fix that issue by paying ..... amount.”


how to avoid them...

1. By telling that you have an attorney (Both criminal and bankruptcy). give any number by saying "call to my attorney"... they won't call.
2. By telling that u know : Its ALL SCAM .......... they will hung up.
3. By telling that its not my social security number....... they will never call.
4.By asking for the date of loan taken (online)........ they can't help you in this matter (by which u can come to know about scam)

Don't be afraid.........They won't sue........

THEY CALLED ASKING FOR SOME GUY...I TOLD THEM I DONT KNOW ANYONE BY THAT NAME.

THAT IS HYSTERICAL!!   TOO BAD I DONT HAVE A WHISTLE!!  THEY CALLED ME, ASKED FOR SOMEONE, THEY ASKED "DO YOU KNOW ____, I SAID NO, DO YOU??   DID IT DAWN ON US THAT THEY MONITOR THESE BOARDS TOO, TO GET INFO....DONT PUT NAMES IN YOUR COMPLAINT!!

theses people keep calling and using my cell phone air time I have told them to stop calling this number and they are nasty and want to tell me that tay will keep calling and what am I going to do about it

They got your number by what's called skip tracing. Even if your not that person they will keep harassing you. You can take it to the police for harassment or have the phone co block them. My local co charges $4 a month for up to 30 blocked numbers. It was worth it, I don't even know the person they ask for and they have been calling forever it seems (well over 8 months anyway). They cursed at my 6 year old son, I could hear them as I was taking the phone from him! That was when I had their number blocked! Hope this helps.

They call me all the time, and I don't usually pick up.  The last 2 times they called I did -- they asked from someone named Ty Parker, and I tried to explain they had called a company cell phone and there was no Ty Parker at the company.  She (forget her name both times) got really rude.  So this is what I do ... it is hilarious.  I call the number back and speal very quietly, so they turn their phone up to hear me ... I then blow a whistle as loud as I can into the phone.  Boy, does that pi$$ them off ... I have done it 3 times, and crack myself every time.  I know it's sophmoric ... but it is fun.  Maybe if more folks do it to them, they will stop calling?  You have to remember to talk very softly when you call back, so they turn their receiver up -- then blow the whistle for all you worth.

PHONE# ON CALLER ID:  ACADEMY SERVICES  856.668.4530... NO MESSAGE LEFT.  I SEE BY GOOGLE THAT THIS BETTER NOT CAUSE PROBLEMS.  THERE IS A LONG EMAIL FROM SOMEONE 11/09 THAT TURNED THEM INTO THE FTC AND SOME OTHER LINKS.  IF THIS PERSISTS, TRUST ME, I WILL RAISE HECK.

I believe this is a creditor but they even have my cell phone number.

They called on my business line.  I did not answer.  I am not behind in ANY payment to ANYONE.

They keep calling me and when I called back I asked who they were and they refused to answer me. Then they asked if they could speak to a Susan or a Karen. I told them no one here by that name. Said they would remove my Number and then 10 mins later called and asked for either Susan or Karen. Told them again to stop calling and what is their Addy so I can send them a certified letter telling them wrong number and to stop calling. So jenny said F**K YOU!!! and hung up

MOST OF THE TIME I DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. I TOLD THEM THERE WAS NO ONE LIVES HERE BY THE NAME THEY ASK FOR, BUT THEY KEEP CALLING AND CALLING. HOW DO I MAKE THEM STOP?

I have received calls from this number and another number from the same place.
They are calling me on my cell phone and I would sure be curious as to how they got it. At one time I had my number on the donot call list.

They have called me about everyday, and keep asking for an Elizabeth? The last time they called, I said " I have told you guys a thousand times that person does not have this phone number". I told her to stop calling this number and she got really snotty with me.

DONT give them any personal information, they will make you think they are your friend then call you a liar when you question them. If you can have the conversation recorded but if not dont give them any bank info, they will just take all the money that is owed to you and there is nothing you can do about it.

If they tell you they don't accept "money orders" ask them to send you there policy paperwork stating this but don't give them your bank info, you will be sorry if you do.

Just got my new phone number and these people call my house several times a day, I am at work when they call, well last night I finally was home when they called, they asked for someone that I didn't know, when I told them I just got this #, they basically called me a liar and said I was the person they were looking for, I told them to call my phone company and ask them when I got my service, then I told the jerk what else he could do,which I can't repeat....

called on sunday of all days........... illegal .. these people need to read the laws... between 8-9 weekdays .. anything before or after and on sunday is illegal according to the fair debt law and i am reporting them to the attorney general.  they also did not leave a message. pretty rude.

This number has been calling my home phone up to 10 times daily.  I answered several times and got the message to hold for the next representative.  I will not do that . If someone wants to talk to me, they have to be ready to answer when I pick up the phone.  I do not know who they are or why they are calling.  They called again while I was typing this.  Harrassment!

this number keeps calling my cell phone at work. i do not owe anything and I am wondering why they have my number.  I called them back and they were rude and would not give me any information unless I told them my cell phone number.  She wouldn't even tell me what type of company they were.

they keep on calling me during school during church mass and even early in the morning ! this is my private cell phone ! how can I get them to stop?
