People please listen!!!  This is a HUGE scam which I almost fell for about three years ago.  It is a man with a thick indian accent telling me his name is john jacobs or some other very american name.  They will threaten you with a payday loan from years ago (which probably never existed).  They will call from different numbers and leave different names all the while its the same sc--bag calling.  They use cell phones and they aren't even in the united states.  Channel 7 did a report on them years ago.  When they used to call me the first time they were Legal Affidavit Services....this time they are another made up name.  DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM AT ALL.....I promise you they will stop calling eventually.

This number calls my house which the number is technically disconnected only reason we keep the line is for 911 and the internet.....they'll call my house and right after that they call my cell.  I am on the National Do Not Call Registry is it illegal for them to be calling me?

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

I do have some bills after being laid off and out of work for over a year, so I'm sure it's a debt collection company. My current job pays about half of what I was making. I can hardly pay my rent, so unless Santa brings me a better job; I doubt they will see a penny from me anytime soon.

Multiple calls from an automated system.

They just called my cell phone while I was at work. It is me, but I pressed 2 to tell them it wasn't. Unsecured debt is their problem.

I have gotten several calls from this number for name of a person that I do not know.  it is an automated call press 1 if you are XXX person and press 2 if you are not the person... I had been pressing 2 -thinking they would take my number off the list, but it just hangs up... and press 1 if you are... I hit that yesterday thinking that someone will pick up live... but it also hangs up.  If someone can get me the address of the company I would appreciate it... they call several time a day... and they are calling my cell phone which I have had for over a year.  any help is appreciated.
