When they call my cell # , I don't get any response when answering.

i also received the same call's
about 5 times in the past 3 days when i call back it tells me wrong # or code. i checked the area code and it say's boston. dont know no one there tho.
is there a way to stop this calls????

Thats funny, I am getting the same number across my cell phone...and they hand up immediately. Its happened about 5 times today...3 times in the past 3 hours

Three calls from this number today on my cell, didnt leave a message.  I tried calling back - wouldn't go through.

Received 2 calls from this number today - they didn't leave a message and when I tried to call back, says the number or code I have dialed is in correct, please call back with correct #. Be very careful with those magazine companies, I fell for their schemes back in 04 and had to pay $400 to get out of it!!

I keep getting calls from various numbers, including this one, also asking for "Brittney". I'm a truck driver who hauls cars & maybe don't have a very dainty voice, but trying to sound gruff, I said (after a couple of these calls in the past two days) DO I SOUND LIKE BRITTNEY???? I live in a Provo, Utah, a big college town, so it isn't uncommon to have a wrong number once in a great while.  But so many in such a short time and from all over... I smell a rat!

3 calls from this number 857-212-22922 on my cell and when I answer they immediately hang up.

I also received 4 calls from this number today. I did not answer the first couple times and when I did answer, they hung up on me.

Unlike all replies below I didn't answer and he DID leave a message.
The message was "Brittney.. Is Brittney there? Can I talk to Brittney?"
This is my name which freaked me out a bit.
As though they didn't understand they'd been speaking to my voicemail.
I tried calling the number back but it wouldnt go through.
It says wrong number or code.
After the failed attempt at calling this person they called back but said nothing and then hung up on me.
When I looked up the number it told me it came from Boston,Ma area.

I received a call from this person today.  They asked to speak to "Dorothea," which is not my name.  I told them they had the wrong number, and the man on the other line said that it was ok, and that this was the number entered into a "dream sweepstakes" of some kind for $25,000.  He asked me a few questions (a "survey"), and I played along just to see where this was going.  AFter a few questions about my hobbies, and asking me my age group, and which was my favorite credit card provider, he started some spiel about a good deal on magazines, like three different ones weekly, for "only $4.95 for all three."  He then asked for my address and "assured me" that he was from a reputable company called "Best Publishing Services" based in Draper, Utah.  I refused to give out any personal information, and he told me he could understand that, but he was not asking for credit information, just an address.  I said know, and he continued trying to pressure me into giving out my address.  He proceeded to ask if I lived in (city) in (zip code) and also asked if my address was (address).  I told him I had never heard of any of these places, and he again asked for my address.  I found this funny, after telling him I had no way of knowing where this call was from, he suggested that I google "Best Publishing Services."  I didn't feel like it at the time, but I just now did, and could not find the company name, or anything in Draper, Utah.  After he knew I was serious about not giving out my address, he  frustrated said "thank you," and hung up.
