They also tried to purchaesomething from me on kijiji as well, and insisted on pay pal. They definitely sound like they've done this before.....

I have a Set of 4 tires and rims on kijiji and he has contacted me to buy them and wants to pay through paypal and have some agent pick them up from me.

Yeah i got the message from him too Scott Rogue... He offered to pay exactly what i wanted said hed send the money right away via pay pal.. said he would take care of the 1600 dollar shipping fees too.. we felt uncomfortable and googled him.. thank you everyone for making this public.  the email address i have for him isrgscott001@gmail.com his phone number is (347)345-0712

After posting ad on Kijiji and Auto Trader for our holiday trailer, we received a voicemail text asking about it.  This will be the 2nd one for staceycaroline 003@hotmail.com.  I wonder if these scammers get paid on a commission basis.  If your not sure just type in a google search "who belongs to (and the number)"  As somebody has already said thank god for google.  Today I'm reporting the other 4 telepests that have honed in on our trailer ad like flies to a dead animal.  Interesting on doing a check of the numbers this one also belongs to Rogue Scott or is that Scott Rogue(rgscott 001@gmail.com) also had phone number 347-345-0712  he was the one who was the marine engineer and said that phone sevice was hard.  I emailed him.  He said he would pay full price and any other costs.  He would pay by PayPal and send funds right away to our Pay Pal account.  Hubby emailed him back that he could do that, but the trailer wouldn't be released until the money had cleared our bank, which could be 14 days or more.  He said that if the money was wired directly to our bank it would be faster.  Alas we received no further emails.  Darn. and no more phone messages.  But other flies are swarming around.

received text asking to buy my trailer and have a company come from the usa to pick it up. wanted my email address so they could move monies to my pay pal account. emailed back that they are on the scam phone list and they denied it. but there is no money in my account!!!

I just got a text also from the same number wanting to buy something from me on kijiji and decided to Google the number because it sounded very strange , all i can say is thank god for Google .....  now i know its a scam !!

Same thing here. Guy says he works offshore and has no online banking (yet he can text me just fine). Offering to buy  furniture sight unseen. Wants my paypal email address to pay me. I googled scams/sellers/  Kijiji and this is happening where they supposedly transfer funds and the seller discovers a hold on the funds and is advised to pay $$$ to have it released etc.....SCAM!!!!!

I just placed some furniture for sale on Kijiji and got a txt from this number: 857-220-7237.  The person asked me to email them at: anthonyburridge22@hotmail.com. I thought I'd google the number first as the area code was not from around here and came across this page.  Thanks guys for the heads up!!

I received a text response from this number from someone named KIM for my add on KIJIJI, they said they were going to send me money through pay pal, when i told them i was accepting cash only they told me they were an Oceanographer and were currently at sea right now. I immediately looked on google found this and confronted them...they havn't replyed! FRAUD ALERT!! watch out so you don't get scammed!

received txt in response to my add in kijiji, caller wanted me to ship item to africa and willing to offer higher than my ask price for item.  This is a scam folks,   a SCAM !!!
