So Life Changing, do you work for them right now or are you just saying this so that people will be dumb enough to listen to what you have to say by the company's expense? I am saying is the company paying you to say this?

Call came from Desmond Watson today from 404-820-3219. I barely understood the company name on the voicemail.  I thought he said TFS, but I see on here it is CFS.  Call was definitely fishy.  Wouldn't answer if was sales/commission job. Said too much to discuss over phone.  Texting information was an even bigger red flag.  Started investigating and found this.  Asked how he received my number.  Said referral, but doesn't know who by the time he receives it.  This one is in Suwanee.  Whether or not the company exists isn't the argument.  The ethics of method chosen to solicit workers is very questionable and explicitly obvious as dishonest and/or trickery.

Ian Khan just called me like about two hours ago telling me the same thing! I asked him over  the phone if this was sales/commissions because if so, i am not interested. He said no, unless you are looking for sales. I said NOPE! He just said, "okay good because I am looking for people with experience with managing businesses for one of the new offices i have opened." I asked myself....I have NO type of insurance or sales experience soooo i do not know how he would hire me to manage his business without having me start at entry level which is selling his products.
SAME NUMBER AS WELL 678 218 8527 AND SAID HE DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH TIME AND IF IT WAS OKAY TO TEXT ME THE CONFIRMATION INTERVIEW....RIDICULOUS!!! NOT GOING TO MY INTERVIEW NEXT TUESDAY!!

Lets say that this is NOT a scam, how do you explain the misleading information to those HE called offering an interview? Since we are so ignorant, please explain how lying to desperate job seekers is ok?? ESPECIALLY when he is asked if it is sales/commision based? Please explain.

The Primerica trolls in the past year did so love playing their broken records. Their top hit song says that they've all found the proverbial pot o'gold because, unlike the rest of us shiftless, dimwitted naysayers, they comprehend work and sacrifice. They also imply the contradiction that Primerica provides a shortcut to wild success.

Well, for a couple years commissioned sales was one of my past lives, and I heard the same mix of bullying and cheerleading. I was invariably the hardest working man in the recruit room, but also smart enough to see through a slick manager's headgames. An MLM-style "opportunity" is not going to teach you a job or establish a career unless your passion is swindling others like the company owners. They call you an "independent agent", but you're no better than a slave. The only gold you'll win forms the handcuffs you clap onto yourself.

Primerica has been an enemy of 800Notes and sister sites since Q4 2011, when its operatives resorted to heavy spamming and extortion in a futile effort to fight its reputation damage. This was documented in another thread, which somehow lost its original lead comment. Fortunately I'd made my own copies of some of the discussion and bratty behavior. First that summary comment, then its thread link:

Accusations of blackmail and extortion by your site(s) have been repeatedly posted by a Tal Grossman on your affiliated site WhoCallsMe.

http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/9052649962/3

After complaints against Grossman, a Primerica agent, were first posted on both 800notes and WhoCallsMe, Grossman began a long series of fake posts claiming to be from satisfied recruits and heaping abuse on complainants.

After these fake posts were repeatedly removed, Grossman, obviously infuriated at being unable to promote his operation here, began posting the accusations of blackmail and extortion.

Of course Governor Raw Deal and his teabag cronies are drooling over the cash, no wonder they support this operation!  Ol' Nate supports the greedy and ignores the needy!

Yeah, after you sign up and pay a snotload of fees, you are so far down in the downline that you practically need to sell your soul to advance, after you've pestered your friends and family!

Primerica is all about lead generation.   The only way to make money with their financial services set up is to either sell low-end term life policies, or det consolidation loans, or money markets or whatever; or recruit others to sell and make a residual off their sales--kind of like selling Tupperware.    I think that's why so many people are getting (DNC violating?) calls about "employment opportunities."   The problem is it's a numbers game for  Primerica; throw enough reps out there  (100,000 in 2009)   and you'll sell something, but unless you have amazing contacts and lead potential, most people are going to fall by the wayside.  It's a classic case for the consumer: a desperate, high pressure salesperson selling  Primerica products exclusively whether it's an appropriate financial fit or not--selling term life to seniors as an example.    They're not crooks, but they paint a far rosier picture of your chances for success.  Once you sell financial products to hesitant friends and family and run out of obvious leads, you fall by the wayside and they move on to the next group of "enthusiastic, positive go-getters who know it's only a question of hard work"--until nobody wants to talk to them anymore about buying life insurance.   Is it any wonder Citigroup dumped them?

Any company which will not disclose their name, nor tell people that they are independent contractors BEFORE they ask those same people to attend an "interview" is hardly an upstanding example of honesty or integrity.  Oh, btw, this is NOT a blog - it's an online forum for people who have received unknown/spam/scam calls.  You just ASSumed that this is a blog, so I'm sure you know where I'm going with this....

Not a scam per se - but they are not upfront that it's a commission only position.  They also do not tell you the company name upfront either.  IMO, if it's such a good company, why are they not honest that they're looking for entrepreneurs, and why not tell you off the bat what the company name is?

Over 37 years in the financial industry partnered with Invesco, American funds, Equifax, and Lincoln Financial and the lit goes on.  I would be embarrassed to make some of the foolish comments made on this blog.  On the NYSE under PRI, Dalbar Award Winner, largest financial services marketing organization in the country today.  I would be interested to see how many of the skeptics are financially free since Primerica has created more financially independent people than any other company in the world today.    Governor Deal, the Attorney General, and Insurance Commisioner all supporting the opening of Primerica's new home office in Daluth at the ribbon cutting.  Don't be FOOLS!   A+ on the BBB, less than 130 complaints done in 3 yrs with over $6 million clients????  Scam?  Don't be so ignorant!!  This company pays out $2million a day in death claims- one to one of my best friends.   Glad my best friend didn't listen to stupidity like this.   If you want to be a loser, be a loser by yourself!   Don't INFECT others!!  This is one of the most RIDICULOUS blogs I have ever seen.

I got a call from Primerica as well, although the caller did not specify the company at first. Mind you I have 11 years of experience in Insurance, a Bachelor's Degree, and no one is hiring for this sector. The opportunity seemed too risky. With no one else calling me back I gave it a try, I had nothing to lose, and was in desperate need of income so  I did attend the interview.

Three weeks later I have my GA state Insurance license (which they paid for, all I had to cover was my finger print's and background check $99). In three weeks I have a small block of clients. The income they stated $1,200 - $1,500 a month is about right, and this is only three weeks later. I have received a lot of calls from other agents for me to join their team (StateFarm, Nationwide, Zurich.) But why should I when they did not give me the time of the day and wanted me to spend $2,000 plus out of pocket for a license?

This opportunity is not for everybody, Primerica works, but you have to work for it as well. I'm going for my securities license next so that I can do financial planning and do presentations at various businesses and organizations. That is why I went to get my degree in the first place.

I am not a recruiter, and no you will not get a call from me, I do not recruit . This is just my input, and my experience.

All I can say at this point is...WOW. So glad there are
real people out there looking out for one another.
Although I cannot sit here and name
you all one by one, I want to thank each and everyone
of you
for saving me my time and gas. I got a call from Unique
Madkins hours ago. I hung up the phone and cried
because I was so thrilled to have found a job. After
seeing this, I can see how crooked our world can be.
Good luck to everyone job seeking out there! :)))

I don't understand why these primerica posters are so hostile and aggressive. It leads me to believe that it's probably just one person who is pretending to be like 5 ppl. Geez louise...no one cares...it actually does now sound like a cult as these posters are getting increasingly abusive verbally just because someone else is opposed to the way the company operates. I also received a call from someone named Artia Hawkins from a 770-568-9431 number and she was a fast talker, sort of evasive as well; the bottom line is that this company should be honest about what position they are having you interview for and if it is commission based they should be upfront with that. There may be some people that are seeking that kind of job, but when you omit information and have a potential employee drive all the way to said location before revealing just what the business is about..that may constitute scam. Simple.

I had a similar experience with Unique Madkins.  She was evasive as to how she found my resume, phone number, etc.  I explained that I did not have my Series 6 or 7 Licenses and had NO interest in selling.  She said, "oh no, this would be supporting me."  I asked if she would like for me to e-mail her my resume and she said no, she didn't it, just bring it with me to the interview.  Little did that _________ know that I have friend at Primerica and did my research.  Not only did she lie through her teeth, she and her Husband, Brian, are not doing that well in terms of business.  I will not show up for the interview, but as I am a professional, I will call and cancel so she can sucker somebody else that is looking for a real job.  UNLESS YOU WANT TO SELL INSURANCE, DO NOT FALL FOR ANYTHING THAT THIS PERSON SAYS.
