Come ons/telemarketers.....I NEVER  answer numbers that come up with no identification!!!!!!!!

4 calls today from this number.  The Caller ID reads "Health Services".  Needless to say, don't answer.  

Just activated new Straighttalk phone number and then 1 week later this call without changing my number wioth anyone except immediate family.   Sucks!!! that Straighttalk would sell my phone info.

Caller claims to be a David Turner from direct buy stating I am a semi finalist for a $25k shopping spree. When asked how they got my number, caller starts the speech all over again and asks to set up an appointment in their showroom.

I received a call @ 12:45PM from this number. The guy said I was a semi-finalist in a $25K shopping spree from Direct Buy. He said I was guaranteed a trip even if I didn't win the grand prize. He wanted me to confirm that I was between the ages of 25 and 68. He named a prominent street near my former residence and made it sound like he was located there even though his phone number was from out-of-state. He said I'd have to come claim the prize in person @ 6PM, but that I'd be disqualified if I didn't have a spouse or boyfriend's name to list as the second person going on the trip.

I wonder if these are not coming from ordering from Vista Print??  I keep getting these random calls with not leaving VM and then some are leaving a VM and they are saying they are from Yellow Pages.  They just called again and a male with an accent left a VM and mumbled about the "first page". What on earth???

Was just called by them.  CallerID displayed "ANNOUNCEMENT".  Answered phone but did not say anything.  Hung up after 5 seconds of silence.

got a call from this no. i don't appreciate getting calls like this especially when i have voice mail and the person or company calling doesn't have the decency to leave a name or reasoning behind the call. so whomever you are don't call my number again. I DON"T ANSWER CALLS IF I DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER, SORRY. SO YOU MUST LEAVE A MESSAGE IF YOU WANT YOUR CALL RETURNED.

Call hang up.. and continue to call and hang up. it is annoying

that happen to me too, I just open my bussiness on line and the next day they called me saying they were from us directory,,I was like what is that???then they try to get information about my bussiness and I hang Up.

An asian man claimed he was calling from direct buy. then when i asked him how he got a hold of my number he continued to make sexual comments... then hung up.

Same deal - unsolicited call on my cell Sat ~1:30.  My policy is I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, so I didn't. No message.

I note with interest that two other posters are from AL. I bought my cell in Madison, AL, and the number still links me to that area.

I wonder if they're just saturating all numbers in a certain area code/prefix?

2/16/13  They have called my cell number 6 times in the last 2 hours.  I answered the last 2 times noone says anything.  I think I'll get an airhorn for the next time just in case someone is there.  I'm on a DNC but can't block on cell phone because it is prepaid.  Boo.

These are little Asian trolls working a scam

I own a business and this number called me claiming to be from "US Directory of Yellowpages"

I actually have an account, with an account manager with Yellowpages, so I asked if it was the Yellowpages. She said "how many times do I have to tell you this is the US Directory of Yellowpages" I told her 3 more times, without the attitude. It was clear she was phishing for information. Very creepy and misleading.

This number calls every night and I want it to stop

We have received several calls from this number.  Sunday afternoon, I spoke to someone and told them I was not interested and hung up.  They called back again the Sunday evening and I gave my husband the phone.  The guy was talking to him and my husband said we were not interested and for us to be taken off his call list.  He then began to argue why and how come and after a minute of this, my husband hung up.  We are on the do not call list.  Guess what, they called again this evening and it is only Monday!!!  I am so tired of these phone calls.

For the last several days we've received several calls where the caller stayed on the line but no one spoke.  We are also on the do not call list so don't normally get marketing calls.  Starting on Jan. 21 we got a call from an unknown source.  The next evening that number called again and a woman identified herself as representing Direct Buy to which we told her very sternly that we were not interested given what we know about the business practices of the company.  The next day that same number called again (it is 857-444-5566) and a different woman (with a foreign accent) identified herself as representing Direct Buy and we asked she take us off her calling list.  Then tonight, Jan. 24th, the 256-754-2791 number showed up on our caller ID as being from Hartselle, AL and no one was on the line when we answered.  I'm posting here since it seemed a coincidence that the 256-754-2791 no. was reported by another person on whocallsmeDOTcom as having a caller identifying the 2791 number as representing Direct Buy.   Perhaps the two are related but there is little doubt that they are anything other than scammers.  It would be nice if they'd leave us alone after their first unsuccessful call, though.

These are trolls who mine numbers off craiglist they call off voip magic jack.They mostly are asian females.if you have free minutes and a little time to have some fun.Play along and give them totally bogus info and keep saying stuff like "what i win?" and other things to confuse them.

Called today.  Foreign women from Direct Buy.  Said I was a Semi-finalist winner.  I interrupted...told her I was on the do not call list and was hanging up so I could file a report.  Told her do not ever call my number again.  I filed report online.  Curious if they'll call again!

All you need to do is cal the number back and press 1. It'll ask you to enter your number, do it, and they will remove you from their call list..Direct Buy is starting to piss me off.

Purchase a call blocker unit.

They called our house three times yesterday--and yes, it was Direct Buy.  We're on the Do not call list, for the good it does.  They've called twice today.  Mostly, I just don't  answer.

Just do Like I do... Ask them why nobody answered and take no apology or excuse.  Just tell them to be quiet and to hush unless they can explicitly explain why nobody answered.  Just basically give them a hard time and take control of the situation.  I do that to all sales calls, especially when they call multiple times.

They've called more than once don't know how they got my number....

Foreign Woman from direct buy said I won a home makeover. Sounded like a scam, so I told her to give it to someone else.
