The person number called and hung up

The call is from my local area, but not message or name.

I keep getting calls from this number, asking for a minor in our home or his wife. The same creepy man keeps calling and hanging up.

Same deal-calling asking for my brother who is a minor. I said he  is not available, the creepy old man hung up. Sounded like a call center, it was noisy.

Caller ask me of info, but when I asked him to identify himslef would only state his name, Paul, then hung up on me.

i got a call from this number asked for my name, if i was available. i said no. he said he will try back some time.
I called the phone number (listed above) and received a recording stating that the Google subscriber I was trying to reach was unavailable.

this idiot calls every night!!!! NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR VINYL WINDOWS!!!! stop ripping people off!

Play this fax machine tone into the phone when you suspect a spam call and they will stop calling you.

Do not pick up when you get a call from 858-218-6182.  Extremely rude!! And they are scary.

Call from a male who asked me , "How was your day?" in a creepy, overly familiar tone--sort of like an old boyfriend crank calling you

I also called back and got the same message off her answering machine as a Google subscriber.  This woman has called me several times every day.

My guess is that he was on a phishing trip.  If he was a telemarketer, wanting to sell you something,  he sure wasn't trying very hard.  It's doubtful that he keeps a copy of the DNC list,  made a available through the DNC Registry upon request,  since he is obviously not legitimate and could care less whether you are listed or not.
Did you report this call to the DNC Registry?  That is how it works. They don't know  until enough people complain and establish a pattern of the offending number.....

Called asking if I was the man of the house...sure, I sound like a man!  Wanted to talk to me about my house on ...... street.  I said, 'What about it'...he hung up.  Definitely someone wanting to sell me something.  Always great to get telemarketer calls when my number is on the do not call list!!!!!! %$#@&^!!!!!!

Received unsolicited call regarding home improvement/new windows offer. Female who identified herself as "Katie" never offered her name or business name until demanded of her; wanted to conduct a survey of the type and number of windows in our home instead. Katie seemed to have some difficulty coming up with her company name and finally settled on "America's Best Windows. No such firm by that name exists in San Diego.  I called the phone number (listed above) and received a recording stating that the Google subscriber I was trying to reach was unavailable.

Ran in from the grocery store and picked up this ringing number. It was some girl named "Kathy" or "Katie" trying to sell fake plastic windows. Told her we don't need any plastic windows and take us off her list. Like DKG reports above, Kathy got really snotty when I said no and don't call again.

They keep calling. ID says "Powy Ca". No message, just a hang up.

MULTIPLE CALLS DAILY. EVERY DAY INCLUDING SATURDAYS... 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' ON CALLER ID

At first I didn't hear anything when I picked up the phone, but then some weird guy came on and asked me if I wanted brand new windows. I asked where he got my number and he became snotty and irate. Would NEVER buy anything from this creepy outfit!!

Also just got a call from "Katie" who tried to get me to sign up for a "free" window quote and then started to yell and become belligerent when I tried to get more information from her and said that I was going to report them to the "do not call list".  I am also contacting my attorney.

Calls and says he is around the corner which scared me.
Then calls another day and starts laughing when I picked up.
Thought it was someone I knew

I got a call from this number again too - thankfully my answering machine wasn't hooked up and I was at work...very weird.

What's sucks is when you live in that area code,and you think it may be someone you could know? This person, from that number,  just sat there and listened to me say 'hello', and then just hung up.

Some freaky guy breathing hard at the other end. This perv has called my number 8 times. I just wish he would go away.

A guy named Paul called saying he wanted to install new vinyl windows on my house. Told him I have expensive custom wood windows and why on earth would I want to put on cheap junky vinyl windows. Have no idea how he got my number but I am contacting my attorney to investigate this obvious scam operation.

Paul called, a paint and window company doing work "in our area" - cleverly kept talking while I tried to tell him we were on the Do Not Call list.  I hope they get fined!

Some a***ole called at 8:45pm and tried to sell me windows - hung up when I said don't call me at 8:45 on Halloween to sell me windows....

My machine picked this up at 1:29 PM today.  The caller I.D. says "Poway CA".  Didn't leave a message.  Really, really stupid.  And probably illegal.

Call from this number tonight.  Went to the answering machine.  A little heavy breathing and then they hung up.  Really stupid.
