Keeps calling me. I assumed maybe a debt collector but I have no debt. These companies keep trying to tell me I owe this or that and I have nothing on my report and haven't for years. I started to just ignore the calls. I have registered at the do not call but that doesn't work. Humph. I will just let them keep running my battery down.

If you want to know if the numbers calling you are a scam, do what I do. Let the phone ring and let it go to voice mail. More than likely they won't leave a voice mail. Call the number back. I found out by doing this that most or all of the numbers are disconnected or no longer in service, and then the message will tell you to check the number that you're calling to make sure it's correct. That is someone and/or some group trying to scam you.

i get this call from 8582250871 6or 7 times aday and noboby is there they hang up after 5 seconds.
