Recieved a call from Tom Cantor' s people.  Felt threatened as a jews that someone was bothering g me and telling me that I needed some religious  information, as if my religion was no good.  Offered to send me a DVD. Hey it's a Non-Profit organization, so listen before you get in attack mode. Since its a personal project of Mr. Cantor and its completely non profit, then there is no way of knowing if the households they call are jewish. Yes, they guide themselves through the last name but they ask politely. Also they don't put pressure on you to accept the gift and ask very politely if they are of jewish heritage. Anyways, the dvd and booklet are completely free and very useful for people that are not short sighted and stubborn.

Recieved a call from some j*** off preacher type who was constantly lying to cover his a**. I asked simple questions and asked why they picked me for this crap and it sounded like racial profiling. This got his panties in a knot and then got the usual whine about being an anti semantic. Not so I don't care what religion you are. Just don't expect me to listen to you and imply I am a racist Jew hate monger. That ends my willingness to listen to your lies and your preaching. They might get more people to listen to there crap if they are not jerks about it.
In my opinion they are a cult that if you don't agree with them your racist or going to HELL. I would love for these nuts to show up at my home and see how far they get before the cops haul them off to jail. If they want to make accusations and slander peoreple because they do not agree with their beliefs. A young man called me, saying he was from  some Israel organization, and asked me if I had received a DVD from them in the mail.  I said "no."  The the caller asked for my email address so he could send me the DVD.  He mentioned the name Tom Kantor and he also used the word, "scriptures" in the conversation.  Immediately a red flag went up for me.  It sounded like something Christian even though it was pretending to be something Jewish.  I said "no thank you" and looked up Tom Kantor on the internet and saw that my suspicions were correct.  This is a messianic "Jewish" group targeting Jewish people in certain parts of Los Angeles.  Don't fall for it if you get one of these calls.  They are looking for converts.
My advice is to say "no thank you" and hang up immediately.

At 5:30 pm, ET, Thursday, January 26, 2012, I got a call from a young woman wanting to send me a dvd on behalf of Tom Cantor of San Diego on his "Israel Restoration Fund".

I do not  know if the call came from 858-367-5414 because I am getting a busy signal.

I asked where she had gotten my phone number from - she said a database.  I was very suspicious because the phone number she dialled is in a very hard-to-find rural community.  I am glad I refused to give this street address, but she hlso had my full name.  I was very upset by this phone call because I follow the war against Israel very closely, and am heartbroken by the lies and duelling narratives.

I also follow American Jewish philanthropy very closely, and had never heard of Tom Cantor.

If this phone number IS the source of so much more pain today, I hope someone makes it very clear to Tom Cantor and his "Israel Restoration Fund" that he is responsible for a violation of my privacy that is more painful than Hamas slitting my throat.
