Just received a call from this number on my cell phone, around 3:30 PM. When I picked up, they hung up. I'm in Toronto, Canada...

A few months ago, a $20.00 phone call was charged to my cell phone bill. The phone call originated from Texas, apparently. However, I do not know anyone living in Texas and I have not talked to anyone from there for $20.00 worth of airtime...

I hope this number is not the same (which is why I Googled it and came across this site). Do not pick up any phone calls from 858 429 4502 - waste of money.

I'm in Kelowna, BC and received a call from the same number; I hardly ever use that particular cell phone so I'm not sure how they got the number. Didn't answer it though.

I'm in Vancouver, BC. I Just got a call from this number also, but didn't pick up. Don't do it !  I'm getting a lot of calls from weird area codes which again, I never pickup. Those calls are all scams !

Got a call from this number on my cell I live in Ontario and the number tha called is listed as San Diego California. As it was a long distance number I did not answer but called it back on my home line. after listening to very annoying elevator music for a minute a lady picked up. she proceeded to tell me that she was offering vacations to cancun mexico. i cut her off and asked her nicely to remove me from her list, she told me that she was not going to do that, and i became more stern and said i wanted it removed now telling her that this was a long distance call, again she refused to take me off her list. I asked to speak with the manager and she hung up on me.
i know that the do not call regestry gives companies i think it was 31 days to update their lists, but says to ask the company to add you to their do not call list as well.
so this is my warning for you guys do not call back and ask them to remove you, you will only be ringing up your bill and they will refuse to do it.

They called on my cell; I didn't answer it and advise all others to also ignore them. They are like vampires - if you invite them in you are doomed!

Two times today same number

got a call from these jerks today... my phone number was sold to them by a company called MDG Computers (MDG.ca)

Same as everyone else here I "won a vacation" asked to be taken off their list and was put on hold for ten minutes. After getting sick of waiting I hung and as I went to dial out again I found the call was still on hold, so I again tried to hang up and the call was still on hold... so I unplugged the phone and the call was STILL there.

It wasn?t until I disconnected the phone line that I was able to release the call.

2 bits of advice - NEVER answer a call from this company (if you haven?t already) and NEVER apply for a computer with MDG Computers! They are the ones selling your personal information to telemarketers.

Received this call on Jan. 26 at 3:15pm. Didn't pick up because no name was displayed on the Caller ID. I'm from Canada.

I live in Canada and I recieved a call from this phone number too!

I received a call on my cell on 5-Jan-2009 at approximately 21:00 EST. I did not answer it. It shows up on caller ID simply as the number. Thanks to this site, I will not be returning the call.

Same number same call, Ottawa Canada.  It costs me money to answer my phone so I did not answer.  This site is very useful.  I now know not to answer if they call again.

Dec 9/08 Also in Canada and just had this number on call display as a missed call.

Answered my cell at 17:52 Dec 6 2008 'Hung up because anybody promising a "free gift" has to be scamming! I don't suppose the cell phone guys are behind this?... who makes money when we take a call? Just a thought...

Hey, so I got the same exact call and the ID was California. I think I got the same call twice, but I didn't pick up because I didn't have my phone with me. I just assumed it was someone I know calling me, so I called back and I heard music. I decided to google the number and came up with this website. I'm also from Canada.

my cell was called hang up from california most likely they will call all of us back what to do if they are in united states

Just got a call from this number on my cellphone. I also live in Toronto. MY cell is a 416 number. It says this area code is from San Diego. Who knows. I didn't pick it up.

I just received a call from this number, but I recently added my name to the "Do Not Call" list. What's the point of the list if they're not going to adhere to it? Well anyway, I'm glad I didn't answer it after having read the previous posts.

I got a call too. Im from Canada and it went to my cell phone. This isnt the first time I have had one of these types of calls. I had one from a 770 Atlanta area code. I live in Toronto.
I never answer calls from numbers I dont know and when I googled the number this site popped up which is great.

Same thing, I am also getting calls from this number, in general I am not anwsering any call I don't have registered in my cellphone-book before checking here.
I am in Canada and in do not call lists. The call appears to be originating from california, and it's just a waste of time and money for those who answer.

I am happy this site exists, it seems to me that these companies are calling a whole lot of numbers automatically using computers to find people out there to take money from.

I received a call but as soon as I answered they hung up. I have been receiving about 1-2 hang-ups a day lately - all on my cell phone. I have no idea where they would have got my cell phone number from since it's not published anywhere.
