I also received a telephone message from a Danielle Roberts and like all the other postings on this site indicated, Danielle Roberts was unknown to me.  She sounded like she was a person with something urgent to say.  Calls are often about people in jail for failure to pay support.  In this instance, she could have been an attorney calling about a client in trouble with our agency.  I deal with hundreds of people each month.  Several times a year, an unknown attorney will call the unit about clients and only give names and phone numbers.  I always call back, even when information is unknown.  However, something made me curious about Sweet Dani - something odd and troubling, but I couldn't put my finger on it.  I suppose I have spent too many years in law enforcement.  I don't know where Danielle got my direct access phone number, it is not available to the general public - it is only given to attorneys and family members.  Ol' Dani must have gotten the number from that carribean cruise vacation scam where a computerized-call survey promises a "free" two-day cruise if you answered 10 simple questions on the phone key pad.  I knew I should have hung up immediately after I heard the computer tape questions - I thought it would be funny to provide irrelevant and nonsense answers.  I also thought the state phone the computer called would immediately stop spoof phone solicitors.  Poor dense Dani knows she was calling a state agency - she had to know her trickery would be discovered.  Our number displays "State of Texas."  My Danielle Roberts was proably just one of the 25 Danielle Roberts who sit in a room each day selling over-priced or fraudulent items to unsuspecting victims.  Like bill collectors, unsavory people choose to conceal their real names for fear of abuse complaints.  Dani - come play with us - I am sure the attorneys in the consumer protection division of our agency would love for you to call them.  I can arrange it!  Merry Christmas and Happy unemployment.

I can't believe you guys are tripping like this becuase of a phone call. There was no deception, A person left their name and ask you to call them back. I get calls like this all the time and it's up to me to call them back or not. But don't trip because it not who you assume it was. What does assume mean??? Grow up people.

Just as Mike put it.  I got a call, number showed "unknown" so I let it go to voice mail.  Message was as if I should know exactly who she ("Danielle Roberts")was and I would want to call her back.  I almost called her back thinking it was someone I should know, but ran the number over the internet and thanks to this site won't bother.

I just got the same message from Danielle Roberts asking to return her call at 858-568-1222.  She sounded like she knew me.  I am an attorney and I hate getting this messages because I always think they might be a former client or someone I should remember.

She is a sales person for Cyberlink Technologies, a company that sells website development, http://www.cyberlinktechnologies.com/.  Don't bother returning the call.

Danielle Roberts is not a fake name. good thing you guys are lawyers and not detectives.

I got the following message on my office voicemail:
"Hi Catherine, This is Danielle Roberts.  When you get this message, if you can, return my call.  The best number that you could reach me at would be area code 858 568 1222.  Thank you."  Although it arrived during work hours, I did not pick up the vm until 4am.  I have elderly parents living in this area code, and was concerned that this related to them.  The number she gives goes to a vm that just identifies her.  Given the posts above, however, it appears that it's a junk phone call and probably a fake name.

Same thing.  Danielle Roberts called and left a message like I should know here and respond.  Thanks to this service, I won't waste my time.

Exactly like Michael's post above. Just gives her name. Not one word about what she wants, but makes it sound like I should know who she is and of course would call back right away. Yeah, right. This boiler room sales gal is very good. Blow her off.
