they called me and I spoke to the agency. I asked them how they got my info and they said through an online opt-in inquiry. I complained so bad they had their IT manager provide me the opt-in as as it turns out I actually did inquire on a site that allowed them to call me as I remembered being on the site. DNC is negated when you opt-in to be contacted. So the moral of the story- Make sure you uncheck all those boxes online when you are signing up for something or you are screwed...

I got a call from this number today. I told them I was on the Do Not call list, the guy actually laughed and said "ooooooo, I am so scared now"  I have turned them into the Do Not Call Registry, it sounds like the FTC wouldnt do much anyway...

do what I did, call them back and get them to stay on the ine for as long as the plolice can trace the call and then have the recorded tape or cd, whatever sent to the police and your district attorney.
String them along tell them you owe 100 thousand dollars, ask for their help and and give them an old outdated credit card number that is worthless, get their address to which you are supposed to send payments and then send all of this to the FBI as interstate theft, and interstate harrasment.
Make them stay on the line as long as possible and tie up their time. Some ways you can do this is to string them along, again and tell them oyu are looking for the invoices and stuff, and make them wait for a long time and then just hang up and make them call back. When they call back, do the same thing over and over until they stop calling. Make them use up their long distance time, or phone and employee time, at a minimum.
NEVER give them any valid information, even your name. If they knew your name, they wouldn;t ask you for it, now would they.
They are as blind as a bat over that phone, they wouldn''t as you for your information if they already had it. If they rattle off your name, tell them that is wrong and give them some fake name, like "Getty Fukeede" or U. Ben Tuk", or "Yuppy Yorz"  (spell it out for them as if it was real) and make them pay for ever wanting to harrass you.
If you are on the national do not call list, turn them in everysingle day, and every time you are on the computer, even if they don't call, make up some time that they did and turn them in for it. Do this every time you think of it.
Call them and take up a few hours of tier time and they won't be able to do any business. Send Chester the Molester a message".
Find every telephone harrassment site on the internet and just cut and paste your last comment on every one of them.
If one of you has private information about the owners, post it so we can all give them a call at their house and talk to their family or families, relatives, mothers, fathers, grandfathers, aunts uncles, etc.
We should return his favor right in his face, and in like kind.
We could pst his SS number, drivers license number and any credit card info to the thieves who steal that and let them rip him off, as well as his family, etc.
If someone can post an email address, attack them that way, add them to a porn site, he'll get more email than he wants and be sure to post him to the childporn sites, so the feds can pick up on him.
If he is truly under suspicion of child molesting, they would love to have his name on a child porn site.

I just called but it wasn't Matt who picked up. He sounded like he was on a cell phone or something. He first told me that it was all lies and his company has no association with these vendors, but when I asked if I could have my attorney call him to verify. He tensed up and changed his BS story and said that he didn't exactly say they had no association but rather their not the same company.  when I asked him for the name of the companies that were calling me. He said his boss Rocky would give me a call back. within 3 hours with that info  . That was yesterday morning and I haven't heard from anyone yet. My next call is going to be to my attorney.

This is one of many cell phones tied to a Google voice number. You?ll never get through and calling to complain to the FTC about this number will get you nowhere. It is a service provided in part by a company I use to work for called Lead Research group www.leadresearchgroup.com . Unfortunately they do not directly deal with the original cell phones and fake caller ID service owner (that?s an overseas company). So technically they are doing this ?legally?. However they provide business to them by way of recruiting and paying third party vendors.. qualifications for third party vendor includes owing a phone.. that?s about it.  It?s mostly in the Southern California area where these guys call. So eventually you might track someone around that area doing this illegitimate service. But they are NOT the head people. There really is no head.. There is too many people involved because they are willing to get anyone involved. They continue to call until someone answers  some questions. I know this because I got so many complaints from legitimate businesses after lead research group sold supposed great leads to them and instead sold them people who just been called too many times already to put up a fight anymore. I quit when I found all this out. I think its despicable. If you call the FTC, Call to complain about LRG. Or call Lead research directly and give them a piece of your mind . LRG phone is 1 (800) 884-8371.
