I get calls from over 15 collectors asking for someone else--months and months and months of calls all day long.  I sent certified cease and desist letters.  I took photographs of the calls, got an attorney, notified the ftc., the calls continue.  People need to get fed up enough and call their Congressman or e-mail their Congressman to do something about this, what I call, domestic terrorism.  The only thing that stops these calls is disconnecting the phone wire.  I have read online where some people who have settled with debt collectors found charges on their bank accounts from unknown sources months later.  Don't talk to these collectors, period.  If you owe money, talk to the original creditor.

Every time I get calls from these debt collectors looking for someone else, I get an added bonus of calls from supposed home security systems offers.  Even had one come to my home.  I figure the security calls are actually from repo men looking to check out the security around vehicles they are looking to repossess.  So don't be surprised if you start getting a lot of telemarketing calls asking personal information.  And, don't be surprised when the debt collectors switch phone numbers and Caller ID information.

I am so sick and tired of these calls,  all hours of the day and night.  If its so important,  why don't they leave a personal message about what it is??   Does anyone know how to get rid of these morons calling???

WE get calls from this number all hours of the day and night, including weekends!!   Never leaves a message,  so how important can it be, and no one is on the other end.  I have sought legal action towards these idiots, whoever they may be.  Totally disgusted with the harassment of calls continually.  If they want me,   can't they leave a message for the person living in our house??   Probably too stupid to do that.

get several phones calls looking for a person with the same name as mine, but different DOB, middle name, and address. when a debt collector tries to track someone they only go by the name. the person they keep calling me about, i did a intellis check for them going by the DOB and address other callers have given me. i found the person they are looking for wrote down their info and wait for the debt collectors to call and pass on the info i found. really makes me angry that all they have to do is the same thing i did to find this person , instead of just going by first and last names only. i found this persons address and phones #'s and DOB. why can't they just spend the $1.95 like i did and stop bothering people who just by chance have the same name.

Called this morning @8am and afternoon @1pm did not leave messages.

Absolutely infuriating. Almost two years ago, I fell on hard times and missed four payments in a row and now, a year and a half later, after making ontime payments 16 months in a row, they are calling me telling me that they need to put me on an 'automatic payment schedule from my bank account' because it is still in collections. I have made 18 payments in a row on time and they weren't calling me before...so why now?! GE Money is SCUM! They call five times a day and never leave a message. When I pick up, I tell them that the bill is going to be paid off in just four more payments, so they don't need to put me on an auto payment...yet they still harass me. They are wasting their money when I pick up!!!

Pinacle financial group.  Debt collector.  I told her to stop calling my work number or I would trace her line and come directly to her office with a rifle.  Harassment works both ways.  the funny thing is this GE money bank thinks they had the right to charge me a late fee of 80 bucks on a final payment... When the electronic payment was made in time.  So by ignoring them they now think I owe them 280 bucks.  Absolute scum GE money bank.  A 400 dollar loan paid off in a month and this is the thanks I get....  So now this has turned in to a game.   I long for the time they call me when I've had a few drinks. ;0-)

debt collector. Rude and annoying. Calls several times in a row.

Calls every day beginning at 9am, and again, maybe 2-3 times a day after that. Didn't recognize number, let it go to voice-mail. Never leaves message. Caller appears to be Pinnacle Financial, a collection agency for GE Money Bank (GEMB). GEMB is an issuer of many store-brand credit cards, for example Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic.

Call everyday all the say is hello.annoying as hell.the call up until 1 minute b for 9 pm.

Called 2x in a row.  1st time male voice said only "hello," with a long pause.
2nd time did not say a word and then stayed on line for 1 minute.
