Call came to my cell phone number, which only family and close friends have; I didn't answer and no message was left. I've never been a patient at UK Hospital or their ER.   Monday, July 1, 2013, at 2:50 PM

I answer a call from this number and received a recording telling me to call the University Of Kentucky for an important business matter. I've never been to the University hospital and don't know why they would even call me.

It was a woman claiming to represent UK Healthcare and saying that a hospital bill that I never even received was being turned over to a collection agency.  All she would do was repeat how much I owed and say that I needed to pay today.   When I asked for time to check my hospital records and call her back, she gave me a different phone number.

I called account services at UK health care and dealt with them directly rather than go through her.

Unsure who it is

Being charged with a ridiculous amount of money for going to the er and having eye drops put in my eye... this woman said she represents UK health care, and that it is time to pay my bill even though my Dr visit was only 3 weeks ago... she did however allow me to set up a payment plan.

My boyfriend got a call from the same number and a woman named Mary-Ann left a message using his full name (first, middle, and last) and asked him to return her call as soon as possible... he returned her call, and found out that she is a debt collector calling in regard to a recent visit to UK hospital.

Same thing.  No message.
