Citicard - long wait (deadspace) before recording thanks you for calling Citicard

Call received at 11:18am (PST) on 6/26/2007.
Nobody spoke when I answered the call.

I am late by a few days on my Sunoco bill, its apparently owned by Citibank.  So I think ok well I owe them less than $100 I'll just pay it on my next due date since they hit me with interest and a late fee.  OH NO, about 5 days after it was due they start calling 6, 7, 8 times a day.  If you try to pay it on their website they want to establish a payment plan!!!  REALLY ....so I paid it through my bank which is an ACH so it takes a few days....they still call and call and call.  The number shows as 866-680-8628.  

So I tell the guy, you know I have been physically assaulted and robbed by gas companies.  Both hands in my pockets and stealing from me at the same time.  He laughs, he thinks it funny.  I AM NOT LAUGHING.  So now they assualt you, steal from you and then harrass you too.  Nice.

What am I going to do about it.  Pay off all my cards and pay with cash.  Then they can kiss my butt!

calls & hangs up constantly, called # & they said that is how they get in touch w/ people who owe them money b/c you get so frustrated with the rate of hang ups you call the number back, nice.

Got this call on my cell, which only a few people have.  I don't have a Citibank account at all.  When I answered, I was told to wait on the line for the next available person.  No way.

This caller appears to be Premier Recovery of Florence KY, does collections for various Citicard fuel card accounts like 76, Shell, Exxon, some store branded cards.

Premier Recovery is definitely a third-party collector, despite anything they might claim to the contrary saying they are Citicard or Citibank or anybody else.

I am getting calls form this # and other # and it seems that they are citicard, they are calling from different numbers multiple times a day. when is to much? Does anyone know when you can report as harassment? so far I have found out that this # 1-859-283-3673 and 816-420-1168 ar Citi credit card calls.

Stop calling now!!!  Have reported you to the FCC.

I receive calls from this number and several others shown online as CitiBank. My accounts were late once and have been caught up for over a month but they call my house over 15 times a day and my cell phone 10! (7 days a week!) Calls start at 8 am and don't stop until 10 pm but when I do answer there is no one there. They leave messages only once a week! This has got to stop!

I get calls from them from time to time, They call my cell phone, and i sent the phone to not ring with that particular number comes up. It's helped so far. I don't get bothered by it at least.

Janna - if this is true, and you have told them that this is not the correct number, and they still have not removed your number from "Nathan's" account.  You *must* report them to the FCC (and make sure you tell them that you are doing so!)  The number to register telephone/telemarketing complaints is: 1-888-225-5322 (1-888-CALL-FCC).  Hope that helps!

I continually get calls from this number, despite the fact that our organization has *never* had a CitiCard.  Fortunately, this time I was able to speak with a competent customer service rep. who gave me a name associated with a Citi account that had our phone number listed on it.  After I had told him there was no person here by that name, he put a note on the account to remove our number as a "bad" number.  I'm thankful that he was polite and obliging.

interestingly enough reading these it appears that it is some credit collection agency with citibank...i don't have a credit card with them and the ones i do i'm extremely diligent with paying...

Got another message from them in December.  Again, all I could hear on voicemail was a bunch of giggling in the background, and someone exclaimed, "You have to be kidding!"  Kind of funny.

This is Citi Corp Credit Card collection agency. They call my home everyday asking for Nathan. Nathan does not live with me. I have no idea who Nathan is. They won't stop calling me!!!

This is a collection agency working for CitiBank that clearly pushes the limits of what is legal behavior. This low-life collector has a very persistent auto-dialer, will harrass you via multiple redials per hour if you ignore or hang up on them. Their dialer also apparently ignores all SIT (service interrupt tones).

This number conituously calls my cell phone.  I've tried to answer, but get no response.

I recieve a call from 8592833673 daily. When I try to pick up to tell them to stop harassing, I get dead air.

I have a Citicard and when they call it reads Citicorp and i can speak to someone. I am not sure who this is.

Yes, I have gotten to the point of turing my ringer off - I have changed jobs and I have even spoken to them about this.  Telling them that I will be late with my payment - I pay some of it but cannot pay all at one time during the month.  So they continue to call over and over and over.
It makes me so mad that they call early in the morning, weekends - even on Sundays.  I just got a call at 8:30 on a Sunday night.
So I guess it's time to turn the ringer and message machine off.
They can go jump!  iT'S NOT LIKE i'M NOT PAYING ANYTHING TO THEM.

We started getting calls from this number last week and it is the same as I've read on this message board.  The calls start after 8am and come nearly every hour!!  I'm running late on my Citicard as well, so I now have no doubt it is them calling (although the number comes up as a wireless number).  They never leave a message, so I may never pay!

I started to get calls from this number, but with caller ID, I don't answer calls from someone that I do not know.  If it is Citibank, well sorry for them, as i lost a real good job recently and am not sure when i will be working again.  I had heart surgery last year and am not up to full capibilities.  And with getting older, work is harder to find.  So, whoever this is calling, will have to wait, just like everyone else.

Ridiculous amounts of calls spanning from 8am until 10pm, usually about 6-10 calls per day.  From the other comments it appears this is from Citicard, but my accounts are up to date with them so they have no reason to be calling.

I recently spoke with someone at my old house and they said that they answered the phone multiple times and told them I no longer lived there, and the calls still kept on for over two weeks.

This is absolute harrassment and I have considered changing phone numbers due to this.  I have to keep my phone on silent all day because they do not stop.

I have been getting called by this number since my husband was one week late on making a payment. They call starting at 8a.m. and call ever three hours till 9 p.m. everyday!!! They even called on Labor day.  Isn't that considered harrassment?
