Received call at residence, caller ID does misrepresent as SSI , asking for someone to do a Target Survey, female caller that spoke English fluently (surprised). Stated they were located in Idaho. I advised will be reporting to FCC as it is very deceiving that SSI can be construed with the Federal Government.

Caller ID read:  859-474-8606.  It was a local number for my area so I answered.  (Actually, it's a disguised number to make you think it's local.)  As the caller's headset produced such poor quality voice transmission, I can't be certain if it was male or female.  They kept asking for my adult son (who doesn't live with us) by name.  But, when asked "Who is calling?" they would only say:  "??I -- We are not selling anything."  After three attempts to completely understand the caller, they hung up on me.

Upon calling them back, I still couldn't understand the company name as stated in the recorded message.  But, they did clearly provide a website you can visit to learn about what they do.  http://www.surveysampling.com/en/general/received-a-call

Basically, they (SSI) are "DATA MINERS."  Today's term for "TELEMARKETERS" abusing 'Do NOT Call' laws by labeling what they do "A Survey."

This DATA MINING TELEMARKETER has two apparently legitimate telephone numbers in the US.  So, if you would like to call them every day, like they are calling some of us, here's their TOLL FREE NUMBER:  866-360-9678.  Also, here's a regular land line telephone number for them in Utah:  801-379-4094.

said it was ssi trying to do a survey for people 16-24 on grocery shopping and make 30 bucks i sid isi tif ro disabled individuals and they said no. hmmmm....

Called Sunday night while I was at church. I didnt answer. They didnt leave a message. ID said Ssi. Wednesday night they called again. They did not leave a message. I am blocking this number. Im tired of racing to my phone to see that it is once again "WHO EVER SSI IS."

My called ID says this number is located in Alexandria, KY.  As a local number, I answered.  A female caller wanted to speak to my husband. I told her that my spouse works irregular hours and was sleeping, and could I take a message.  She replied that she was not permitted to talk to me.  She could only speak to registered voters and would call back later.  I told her not to bother and hung up.  Both my husband and I ignore the sometimes 3 to 4 daily calls received before and since. If I hadn't answered, maybe they would have stopped by now.  The company that employs this person should educate their employees on the 19th Amendment to the US constitution.

When I answered, no one spoke, so I hung up.

Has called at least once daily for the last week or so, never leaves messages.

These people have called several times. The only thing I understand is my name so I told them it was a wrong number and hung up. Very heavy middle eastern accent.
