This caller is relentless, I've spoken to them several times and told them I WAS NOT interested. Also to remove me from their list, they don't listen and later in the day or next day another call, sometimes a silent line, other times someone starts with their sales pitch. They aren't going to sell me with the relentless calling or any high pressure tactics.

@ Cindy - that is EXACTLY what I thought too.  That someone just simply recorded an error message as their voicemail recording.  It creeps me out too.  The guy who called me today was SO RUDE I wanted to drive to Tampa, find where he is, and slap him.

I am also getting harrassed repeatedly during the week by this number on my private business line.  I have told them we are not interested.  They still call.  Today, I told the guy "This is a business phone." He said very sarcastically "What kind of business??" So I told him "Auto damage appraisal service." He made some remark and then I said "Can you please not solicit to this number anymore?" And he said "NO!" and hung up on me!!!! I have tried repeatedly to call back, but am getting a recording that states to please check the number and dial again.  I am very annoyed and frustrated with this.  He said (when I first answered) that the name of the company is PureWater, but I can't find any companies listed with that phone number.  The guy was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional.  We just bought our first home a couple of months ago, and I have an office here which I work from.  Ever since the week we moved in and I set up my office line, I have been getting harrassed by this so-called company.  SO ready for it to stop!!!!

This number has been calling for a while, this is odd that this has happend to others. I called from a different number and it says check the number and call again, but it wasn't very clear almost sounded like someone holding a recording up to the phone, or recorded it for their voicemail, in a poor attempt. This creeps me out just a little.

Calls every day, multiple times, no message. Very annoying.

I systematically get call from this number at least once or twice per day.  It always plays through to my voice mail, which requires that I retrieve, only to hear dead air.  I've tried calling this number back and get a recording that the number is not in service.  I use my phone for work and can'afford to get caught up in this daily nonsense!

Get constant calls from this number, several times a day, do they not know when to give up  or how to take no for an answer, should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Same caller is bugging me too. I think the calling from this number is automated, and when you pick up, the computer just notes that someone is home, then you get a sales person calling later on. If you don't answer, it leaves you on the auto-call list for the next day. Moved to FL this last winter. I had the same experience with the "gift card" also. It seems that the water systems group at GE is involved, and since GE is one of, if not THE, largest corporations in the country, they will be doing about what they feel like. They seem to be pushing their distributors to do high pressure sales calls to sell expensive water treatment systems that maybe hotels would use. I thought more than $8000 was a bit excessive for a single family home. I was actually concerned about the water here due to a slight sulfur odor, so had two different sales guys come over to "analyze" the water. Neither one could explain the chemistry of the tests or why the colors of the solutions changed during the testing. The first guy gave me a bunch of bs about his "chemistry degree" and how corrosive the sulfur is, but there is no evidence of excessive corrosion anywhere in my system, which is more than 30 years old. He said I needed a complete system overhaul, with chemical injection and other unnecessary stuff. The second guy said the existing system was fine and the water quality was very good. Obviously, we are being given a lot of crap by some sales people, bordering on scam territory. I had heard from my insurance company rep. that Florida has the highest incidence of fraud in the country. I believe it.

Called my home phone. Doesnt answer if i call back says it is bad phone number

After reading comments from similar sites it all makes sense... it's a company that sells water purification systems. They've been hounding me ever since I moved to Florida. I get silence, then it hangs up. I've called it back and got the error saying the phone number is not available. I filed several complaints on the Do Not Call Registry site but they're still calling every single day. I've been solicited by several water purification companies but one actually came to my home to do water testing when I first moved here in July of 2011. I had to turn it down because of the outrageous cost of the system so the guy angrily left without giving me the gift card that was originally promised to me. I have to find a way to make it stop.

This number calls repeatedly and when I answer no one is there. I have called back the number and am told the number is not in service. Today finally someone came on the line (sounded like a call center), laughed very loudly in my ear and hung up the line. I am on the do not call list and should not be receiving this annoying calls.

THIS NUMBER CALLS MY PHONE SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. I DON'T USUALLY ANSWER IT, HOWEVER THE ONE TIME THAT I DID NO ONE WAS ON THE OTHER END.

Get calls almost daily - no one there.  Very frustrating.

We recently moved and this cell phone number kept calling me with no body on the other end. Called back and got a recorded msg "the # you have dialed is temporarily not in service, (spanish), msg3, switch 238". I will report this # to FCC and suggest you do the same.

I've been getting the same calls with no answer and today they finally spoke.  Same group saying they were getting back with me about water purification.  Told them we were on the do not call registry and not to call back.  After a bunch of harassment, he finally said, "Oh, we'll call back.  You can bet on that."

Have been getting this call all week- today they called 7 times!! When I called it back I get a recording that the number is not working. Very frustrating!!!

I have been getting the hang up from this number for the past month. When I call it back it get the same "this number is not accepting calls"

Well today there was a person on the other end telling me I asked him to call me back to have my water tested.

Needless to say after a barrage of @$@$@$$@ from me, I don't expect to be on their dial up list any more.

Get calls all the time, no one there.  I just recently moved and thought it might be a collector for whomever had the # before. However it has gone to my voice mail if if they are listening they would know we are not "they".  Just a pain!  I called the # and got recording "the # you have dialed is temporarily not in service"  Isn't that strange if it can call out???

Got a call at home number this morning but they left no message on the answering machine.
