Yeah and the scary thing is I am job searching. It's hard to even apply for a job nowadays. No one wants to see you in person and fill out a job application. It's all done online and very impersonal, If I were a business owner I would be more skeptical about hiring over the phone or taking online applications anyway. I'd have to do all job applications in person.

I also received a voicemail from this phone number and the person identified themselves as Tim Thompson.  I have not called back because i was trying to research who and what organization he belongs to. He was offering me a job in management, I nearly called it back but it was so fishy, something just didn't seem right. no information on the voicemail indicating what company he belonged too. I'm glad I ran across this website during my quest for information about this Tim Thompson.

Received the same call from Tim Thompson about a management opportunity in the Finance/Asset Management area, for PFS?  Assuming that it is legit (which is a huge stretch), this guy isn't doing himself any favors by being so vague on the phone.  He told me someone had given him my name and number (unlisted cell) but 'couldn't remember who' - just seems suspicious.  If he were legit, he could have spent 5 minutes on the phone explaining what his company does and gauging my interest/competence before trying to pressure me into coming to his office for a 30 minute interview.  From the looks of this website (check out the number 859-278-2328 also), he's been doing this for years so he must have a BUNCH of 'management' positions available.  

And you sound like you're a glass half empty kind of guy. Always looking at the negative side of things. It's amazing how people jump to conclusions from just a simple phone call. I myself went to the first interview and decided it wasn't the path I wanted to take. Definitely legitimate though. Search PRI on the New York Stock Exchange. Very impressive.

I got a call from him yesterday, and have an interview set up for today.  I have been job hunting, and I have have AT&T.  He was careful to tell me who gave him my number.  Guess I will try to come back and tell you all if it was a legitimate interview!

I think there must be some sort of privacy breach here. I just got a new number a few months ago. Do you all have Verizon coverage? He is a representative, or district leader with Primerica, which btw, Citigroup is the parent company.

this man called my number knowing my name ive not applied for any jobs have no i ideal who his is an i havent had this number long that he called on

My wife received the same call from this # yesterday.   Seems pretty fishy and obvious that the person (s) defending Mr. Thompson is probably Mr. Thompson.  Curious if anybody receiving these calls recently purchased a car in the central KY area.

Tim called me too. He runs a legit business in finance, but just wasn't for me. I asked him how he got my number and it turns out a good friend of mine I used to work with used to work with him part time too and gave it to him. He's a good guy and if I run across someone that may be interested I'll let him know. People should be careful before being so skeptical about industries and businesses they know little about.

I just got this call, however it sounded like "Tim Johnson" to me... he left a voicemail and didn't address me by name, but said that he would like me to call him back regarding a management opportunity. Weird.

I received a voicemail today from a man identifying himself as Tim Thompson, asking that I call him back regarding a management opportunity.  Through Google, I found this site, with several posts about an identical message from 859-278-2328. My cell number is not listed, I have no idea who this guy is, he addressed me familiarly by my first name and gave no company name or details. Several red flags, and I will not be returning the call!
