This is a number that says have I called James about the charges against me I just said you have the wrong Ruth and hung up on them. This is a scam because I am getting something different they must be trying. I have their number blocked now. Because they have called before on a restricted number; then gives a number that was red flagged as a telemarketer number.

My two minor children got text messages from this number about their credit union report. My minor children should not be bothered by this.

First off, 859 is not a toll free call, its the area code for NKY!
Kywoman7 2011-09-26 21:47:10 Unknown
How could anyone be so stupid as to enter their numbers into that phone base...wake up ppl. ITS A SCAM!

I too am with T-MOBILE and received this same text. Called the number on back of my card. Do not reply to this and if by chance you fell for it please by all means call your credit card company and report it.

Got a text message saying my credit union card has a fraud alert. I have no credit union card. Calls to the number just get a busy signal. Scam, scam, scam, scam!

I'm a t-mobile customer too, but I don't think this is anything to do with t-mobile. They merely delivered a text message.
whitepages.com reverse lookup indicates that this number is a landline located in Campbell County, KY.
I called the FBI and was informed that credit card fraud is investigated by the Secret Service. I would encourage anyone who receives this text to notify their local Secret Service office so we can get this guy behind bars where he belongs.

Got same message and called it from work (our number is automatically blocked to outside calls). Asked to enter card #. Stated it was "an automated system and I would not talk to a live person." I did not enter my credit card number. Just know this is a huge scam and if they even get 5 of every 100 texts sent out, they are making a killing in identity fraud. It's a shame.

This is a phishing scam, the weird thing is my son received the exact same text only 1 hour before mine! The only common denominator is T Mobile, we are both on the same plan, I am on hold with T Mobile now to investigate if cell phone numbers were compromised on their end!
Zach 2011-09-26 00:05:55 Unknown
this is a scam to phish your cc # and PIN. Beware!
Carrie McCauley 2011-09-25 23:57:45 Unknown

It must be something with T-Mobile losing or selling their numbers.
Just wondering if anyone else on here lives in Kentucky where the message is apparently being sent from?
Land 2011-09-25 05:01:29 Unknown
U could start w the Attorney Generals office in Frankfort? They will investigate. Many got that same message, incl. me.
LAND 2011-09-25 03:23:06 Unknown

John 2011-09-25 01:12:34 Unknown
Contact the number on the back of your card, have it canceled, and have a new card with new numbers issued to you.
T 2011-09-25 01:06:48 Unknown

duke 2011-09-25 00:52:02 Unknown
Got the same message called the number an entered stupid info an they took all the info so now I'm scared they are going to start charging my phone.
Ky Girl 2011-09-25 00:42:21 Unknown
Just received the same text. I do no belong to a credit union.
FYI: anytime you receive texts you do not want, reply with one word: STOP
They have to take your number off their list. Something about it being a cell phone, companies need permission to contact you on a cell phone.
Sandy 2011-09-25 00:30:58 Unknown
Got a message on my cell: from "8599083268@creditunionaccess.com". Said "A pending alert has been placed on your Credit Union card. Call toll free 1-859-908-3268 for more info. I am not a member of a credit union, but I called the number from another phone. It was a recording that was wanting me to put in my credit card number.
Hope no one falls for this.
Amy 2011-09-25 00:06:21 Unknown
