Same thing...Auto Warranty. I told them I don't own the car anymore... even though I do, so he asked what I have now and I said a bicycle. He said OK, have a nice day. Hopefully that is it for the calls now!

They just called me. It was a bad connection - sounded like an old "over seas" call. They knew my first name (which I did not acknowledge) and that we have a certain Toyota model. Said he was from the automobile "processing" center and had a non-American accent. I hung up.

This number called me. I picked up, and they just had a British accent and were mumbling some nonsense. They've called 3 times and each time the same. Could be stupid high schoolers with nothing better to do

I just got a call and a guy said "Your message is cool" and hung up.  It didn't say Norwich.  It said V and then a bunch of numbers.  So tired of these calls.  I tried to call back and it was a message that said they were closed for the day.

Hyundai....wound not answer me about what the actual corporate company was.  Asked for DNC list and they hung up on me.  The 1st question was "How many miles on your car?"

Got the same call.  Told the guy I wasn't available and asked him who was calling.  He had a heavy accent and could barely pronounce that he was the "vehicle department".  When I pushed him on what that means, he just kept telling me he would call back.  Then hung up.  Definitely a scam.

Got a call yesterday and it was very obvious the man was Indian, middle Eastern Indian and had no clue what he was saying, asked 3 times who it was and finally made out he was from Hyundai and something about a car, I just hung up. So tied of these Middle Easterners calling about this that and the other thing. Ignorant people.

Curious, this number showed up, as a CT number, however, when you call it back during working hours, the recording says "our office is currently closed. Hours are 7 am to 4 pm pacific time."  More scam than warranty.

They are an extended warranty company.   If your car has over 100000 miles they want nothing to do with you.    They will ask you the mileage of your car, tell them its over 100k and they hang up on you.

It gets better now the number shows up as 222-2297, no area code and ID "unknown", just more nonsense people with nothing better to do with their lives.

ya, well they called me saying they represented Ford, yet when i've call Ford they know nothing about this outfit. gotta love 'nice people'.., with enuf time on their hands and nothing better to do than harangue upstanding, LAW ABIDING citizens. the clown i spoke with mumbled so much i have no idea who he was with, other than '..he represented Ford..'. alrighty then

Have been getting these calls for two weeks.  Didn't answer them and then did answer them.  Got silence after saying hello.  Reported them to the national registry.  Waiting for call number 12.  I believe an air horn is in order when someone actually responds to my hello.

Tired of getting these calls

I received a call from this number today and they knew what kind of car I drove and the warranty that recently expired on my car. Offered to extend my warranty on my VW. Acted like they were giving me a great deal. Offered $2898 for 5 years or 171,000 miles-whichever came first. Wanted $190 right then and they would bill me $150.44 per month for 18 months. When I said I discussed everything with my husband first, they offered to go ahead with the deal (or I would miss out on the great rate) and then I would have 30 days to cancel and get my $190 refunded. I said politely, "Thank you, but we discuss before we act...." and in the middle of my sentence (realizing he was not getting over on me) he hung up. I dialed the number back and it told me it was not in service. SCAM ALERT! Please be aware. I was supposedly talking to a manager after being transferred from the call rep. 1-860-222-2297

Selling automotive warranties on cars that I do not even own. I asked them how they got my number and told them I was on the do not call list and they hung up.

Idiots woke me up but did not answer. They were not intelligent enough to leave a message. Calling them idiots is actually a step up but I feel generous today.

This is company selling automotive warranties.  They are using a "predictive dialing program" in which the computer dials your number.  Your voice then activates the computer on their end and connects your call to a rep sitting there.  That is why you get that silence after you say hello.  I got a call from this # and didn't answer it and 5 minutes later got a call from Bartlett, NH, the same thing.  In other words, if you don't answer or if you do answer and hang up, your # goes into the dialing quque to be called again.  Using the "Do Not Call List" is circumvented by them as they just use other phones #'s routed thru other locales.  By the way, yes, I am former call center manager.

Have got a call from this number several times and never any response when we say hello.

No name on caller ID, and they did not leave a message.  We often get "auto warranty" type telemarketer calls, so the comments of other posters are likely correct.

I get calls from these people too claiming they're from Mazda.  They call and send me alerts as to my warranty information.  I asked "Are you from Mazda?"  Got no reply, except some bs about they represent Mazda.  My Mazda dealer has never heard of these people.
People beware, this is truly a scam.

I received a call from this number at 2:01 p.m..  I answered with "hello" sevral times.  Afterwards I said Good-bye.  In the middle of saying ,good-bye, I heard some kind of sound like "mmm" or "ma'm," but the caller hung-up first.  The caller should not have called me anyway.  So, I reproted the call to the Do Not Call list.  My hom phone number is listed on the Do Not Call List.  I should not be receiving unwanted solicitation.

Caller ID says Norwich, CT.  Intent of call was to Caller made the claim that they were affiliated with Honda and Acura.  When I pressed them on that and the company's name he hung up.  Calling Honda America's main number I established that the claim of affiliation is false.  I encourage anyone else who gets a call from these people claiming they have any relationship with Honda/Acura to report it to Honda.  Hopefully Honda will pursue them for using their name.

I get calls intermittently from this number. Caller ID says Norwich Conn. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. tried calling number back using my cell phone and it just rant. No One answered.
