These crooks just won't quit! They promise to fax bona fides, then do not. They know a fax number can be traced. They give a number to call, i.e., 860-256-6199, but the automated response says it is a local number and does not have to have a "1" before it, even though a "1" was not used.

I am getting frequent calls from this number and when I answer the call it is asking for a PIN number or gets hung up. What are these people trying to get? are they trying to hok our phone and use this for any other calls

Its someone using google voice, its a generic number. This shows up for me when I receive an international call.

Easy solution- Go after the service provider for that number. Tell them they will be a co-defendant in civil court if the calls don't stop.
You will be pleasently surprised.
